Finally there is an electric camper with a range large enough for a nice and sustainable holiday! We would like to introduce you to Evie!

This electric camper is based on the Peugeot e-Expert of 5.30 m and converted by Fixxter. The camper looks fantastic and has every conceivable luxury such as automatic transmission, Android Auto/Apple Carplay, climate control and keyless entry/start. It actually feels and drives like a normal passenger car. Parking is therefore very easy, especially with the reversing camera and parking sensors front and rear.

The conversion was realized with beautiful materials, with 100% electric as the starting point. So no more cooking or heating with gas, but everything via the battery or the mains. A large capacity of solar panels is of course not lacking, nor is an extra large 200 Ah household battery. Camping off-the-grid for about 2-3 days is certainly possible.

The most important features at a glance:
- A nice wide bed with a comfortable mattress topper of 140x200 cm
- A pop-up roof for standing room and an extra bed of 115x200 cm, also with a comfortable topper
- A two-seater bench with belts and swiveling front seats
- Easy to use awning with sunshade
- Camping table with comfortable chairs
- A kitchen with electric hob, Nespresso machine, kettle, sink, large refrigerator and eating/cooking utensils
- Solar panels on the roof to go completely off-the-grid
- Separating toilet or chemical toilet with organic flushing agent
- Connection for the campsite's power grid
- Towbar with a bicycle carrier if desired (at an additional cost)

250 km driving on one charge
Our electric camper has a range of 330 km on paper. In practice, however, count on about 250 km. How fast you drive is very decisive. At a speed of 100 km/h you can go a lot further on a charge. The camper also uses regenerative braking, which recovers energy as soon as you brake. In the early days of electric driving, people often still had 'range anxiety'. With the range of our camper and the large number of charging points, this is no longer necessary.

What makes the electric camper ideal for a holiday, even to destinations further away, is its fast charging option. The Peugeot e-Expert can charge up to 100 kWh fast. That's pretty fast. It means that you can recharge at approximately 400 km per hour. In other words, you can be on your way again in 30-45 minutes if you want.

In practice, it means that you drive for about 2-3 hours, and then stop for a cup of coffee or lunch. This way you travel in a very relaxed way and arrive well rested. If you want to get from A to B as quickly as possible, it is better not to rent our camper (maybe even better not to take a camper at all ;-)).

No charging card? No problem!
At current energy prices, electric driving is about as expensive as less sustainable alternatives such as diesel or petrol. If you wish, we will provide you with a charging card, so you don't have to worry about anything. You set your own payment method on the charging card, and you can keep the card after the rental period.

To see where you can charge, use the camper's navigation or an app on your phone (e.g. Shell Recharge or ANWB). With around 500,000 charging points in 35 countries, there is always one nearby. And at the campsite you simply plug into the socket.
