5p Mercedes-Benz bus from 2012

We made a six-month tour through Canada and America with this camper.
This was our house for five people (two adults and three children aged eight, four and two years).
A wonderful adventure that took us to the most beautiful places in North America.
Now back in Europe, others can also enjoy this fantastic cool camper!

The camper has six belted places according to license plate and there is room to sleep 5 people. Two adults and three small children, one of which cannot be much taller than 1 meter otherwise it will be very cramped. See the images for a drawing with dimensions. We have created a separate bed for the little ones with a removable/rotatable plate. This can also be removed and then there is room for two people to sleep in a length bed (2x1.6m), see option two in the image. Beds and linen are included.
The bottom bed has dimensions of 2x1.4m.

Sufficient cupboards and storage spaces have been created next to the beds so that enough clothing and other items can be taken with you. There is a side window (with insect screen) which provides fresh air.

There is a seating area with four chairs. The front passenger seat can be rotated so that five people can sit.

The two front seats have suspension, which provides very nice driving comfort. There is a reversing camera and a Zenec camper navigation screen that can be accessed via Bluetooth (or cable). There are two additional speakers in the back that are connected to this so that everyone in the camper can enjoy the music.
There is a phone holder with charger.
A Thule storage bag for shoes hangs on the back of the passenger seat.

The kitchen has a two-burner gas hob. The kitchen unit contains a removable clean water tank and a removable dirty water tank. These are accessible from the outside when the sliding door is open. There is a sink with (cold) water. Furthermore, fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery and all other kitchen utensils. There is an electric kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a refrigerator with a very small freezer compartment.

There is even more storage space in the long high cupboard in the camper. There is also a small mobile toilet (porta potti). The wall of the cupboard can be used as a climbing wall for the children to get to the top bed.

The camper also functions fully off-grid. It contains a large household battery, which, depending on the power consumption, can easily last two days without mains power. There is a solar panel on the roof that charges the battery. The battery is also charged by the engine's dynamo while driving. When the plug is connected to the mains, the battery is always charged. There are two 220v power points and USB charging points.
It has a Webasto diesel heater so it never has to be cold. In addition to heating, this also has a ventilation function. There is an extra fan in the roof so that the air can circulate.

The largest storage space is under the bottom bed. Here are four large crates containing various camping equipment. Such as a ground cloth, supplies for the awning, some tools, outdoor toys, etc. There is a camping table, two chairs for adults and three chairs for children. There are ramps (to level the camper). If you want to cook outside, you can use the two-burner Coleman stove. If desired, a small BBQ is available.

The windows can be darkened with custom-made thermal mats.
There is a safe in the camper.
Engine is a 3.0 6 cylinder turbo diesel (190 hp). Has cruise control. Manual transmission.

We may have one or two roof boxes and also a bicycle carrier (for three bicycles) available. Pay attention to the weight. The camper may not weigh more than 3500 kg in total. roads and that goes quickly with bicycles and full roof boxes.

It has All-terrain tires, which does not mean that it can be driven off-road ;-)
There is a sturdy roof rack on the roof which is accessible via a ladder on the side.
