The rental price of the 'DreamCatcher' includes, among other things:
- two double beds: 1 downstairs and 1 under the lifting roof
- duvets and bed and kitchen linen
- toilet on board
- parking heater
- advanced leveling system: so you are always horizontal
- mini washer (for small loads)
- security (safe big enough for your laptop, bear lock, burglar-resistant glass front doors, security locks)
- low emission zones (the camper van runs on petrol and the stickers for France and Germany are on the windscreen).
If you want to travel carefree from place to place and don't want to (always) rely on campsites and shore power, then my campervan (DreamCatcher) is perfect for you. With four seats (with seatbelts) and four sleeping berths, you'll have plenty of room to make your dreams come true. A 69-liter fresh water tank, an 18-liter waste water tank, and a powerful household battery (also powered by several solar panels) allow you to easily stay off-grid for four to five days. But of course, with this campervan, you can also choose to stay at a campsite and use the on-site shore power, of course.
The campervan is fully equipped, including all necessary cutlery, kitchenware, and kitchen linens, a two-burner induction cooktop, a refrigerator with freezer, and camping chairs and a table for outdoor seating, whether under the awning or not. There are also plenty of USB and USB-C ports in the campervan, as well as several standard 230V outlets. You can keep all your devices charged.
You can create the downstairs bed in a flash by folding down the sofa. Your bed is (and stays) made up under the pop-up roof, so you can just slide in. Mattress toppers and fitted sheets are included as standard. I'll make sure they're fresh and clean. I also provide duvets, pillows, and duvet covers for two people (expandable to four people for a fee of €17.50 per (part of) week), but it's also fine if you bring your own duvet or sleeping bag. And if your own pillow is the most comfortable, feel free to bring it.
There's a bike rack for two bikes. You'll also find everything you need, too much to list (a manual and a comprehensive inventory list are in the campervan). I'll email you the inventory list a week before your departure, so you'll know what to leave at home and what to bring. If you have any specific questions about the inventory, please feel free to contact me. If there's anything missing (yet), I can always see if I can provide it. I'd be happy to explain everything in detail before you leave.
Besides all this, there's still plenty of storage space for your own belongings. This way, you can make your vacation with the DreamCatcher an unforgettable experience.
My way of traveling requires extra attention to personal safety. That's why I have sturdy extra locks on the doors, a bear lock on the gears, a safe to store personal and valuable items, including your laptop, and a GPS tracker so I can locate the campervan and your belongings if necessary.
Of course, traveling and staying overnight should remain fun 😉.
Finally, with the DreamCatcher, you don't have to worry about low-emission zones in France and Germany. This campervan runs on petrol (Euro 6), so you won't have to worry about low-emission zones there for a while. That's also good to know; you can hit the road worry-free.
At the end of your trip, you'll return the van to me, spotlessly clean (you'll already be keeping it clean and tidy during your trip, of course 😉). You'll also empty the wastewater tank and the toilet. I'll take care of the rest of the cleaning, and I charge a fee for that. So you don't have to spend time or energy cleaning it; you can stay in that holiday mood for a while longer (and because I do the cleaning, there can be no discussion about whether you've cleaned the van 'clean enough' in my opinion 😉). If you find the outside of the van too dirty to dare return it 😉, you can wash it with soapy water and plenty of water. But never, ever put it through the car wash; that will cause damage to things like the pop-up roof and the solar panels. You don't want to end your dream vacation with unexpected repair costs.
The final step before returning your car is to fill up the gas tank. You can refuel cheaply and close to your return address at the OK gas station at Abram van Rijckevorselweg 75 in Rotterdam (coming from the A16).
If the standard pickup/drop-off time doesn't work for you, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.
I hope you enjoy a "world vacation" with my DreamCatcher; I'll do my best to make that happen. I assume you'll appreciate that and therefore just handle all the belongings entrusted to you with care. You're happy, I'm happy 😊.
During your trip, you can park your car in my secure, private parking garage (free of charge). It's safe and convenient for you.
