Veteraan – 2-seater Volkswagen campervan from 1985

Here is our classic car, if you can find it in the photos. Okay, okay, lame joke.

Now for some serious information:

Our old, trusty Volkswagen, affectionately known as Grandpa. But actually, this nice camouflaged T3 is called Veteran. It owes that, of course, to its color scheme. But also because it was indeed used by the German army.

This Grandpa has taken us everywhere we wanted to be over the past few years. And without any crazy problems.

You do need to be patient with this grandpa, though. He only has 50 hp in his 1.6 diesel engine. And only 4 gears as well. He is therefore not suitable for people in a hurry.

Upon stepping inside, this bus immediately lets you know that you have to take a step back in terms of speed and luxury. Opa is equipped with the things absolutely necessary for a great camping experience.

Do take note, because it has no ABS, no airbags, no power steering, no cruise control, and certainly no air conditioning or speed. You tackle everything at a leisurely pace; it feels most comfortable between 80 and 95 km/h. Really try to feel this out, because once you get a taste for speed, you'll notice that you can relax yourself too.

Our dear Grandpa is ready to go out with you. Pick-up and drop-off times are negotiable at any time.
