House rules for our 'Cali' 🚐✨
We take great care of our Volkswagen California, and we expect you to do the same! To ensure the van remains a joy for everyone, we have a few simple house rules:
Return clean: We hand over the camper to you in pristine condition. We appreciate it if you return the interior clean as well (swept and mopped clean). We wash the exterior ourselves, so you don't have to worry about that!
Full tank: You will receive it with a full tank of diesel; we would like to see it returned full as well. That way, the next adventurer can hit the road immediately. ⛽
Waste & Water: Ensure the grey water tank is empty and the refrigerator is neatly clean upon return.
Respect for the technology: It is a powerful 180 HP engine, but it likes to warm up gently. We will explain everything about the pop-up roof and the electronics before you leave, so that you won't be faced with any surprises.
Honesty is the best policy: Of course, something can always happen or break (a glass, a scratch). Please be honest and report it immediately, so we can resolve it smoothly together via insurance or the deposit. 🤝
Fines & Costs (let's hope it isn't necessary!):
Not refueled: Fuel costs + €15 service fee.
Interior not cleaned: €75 cleaning fee.
Smoking in the bus: €250 (for professional cleaning).
In short: treat our bus like it's your own, and you are guaranteed to have the trip of a lifetime! Do you have questions during your trip? We are always available for tips or help.
