We recommend not renting this camper! This is our 4th time renting a camper via Gobooey, 3 times perfect! Until we decided to rent from this owner: We received it incomplete (there are 6 of us; 5 chairs, 3 forks, and 4 knives is therefore on the tight side). The owner thought we could have counted this at the start…. ?! The awning was broken, attached to the camper with tape, and had many holes in it, essentially acting like a sieve. The awning also could not be retracted by two (adult) people due to a broken cassette, so we always had to get someone to help whenever we wanted to leave. Multiple cylinder locks fell out of the doors when opening or closing, which made locking or opening very difficult. The toilet was leaking, which, after much unsuccessful cleaning, caused a urine smell for two weeks; the entire camper was filled with the stench. However, we only used it a maximum of four times because the toilet slide is not child-friendly. We ourselves also had trouble opening and closing the slide. So, we were unable to use the toilet for the entire holiday. In addition, the shower door did not close; it opened by itself, so there was no privacy. The step broke off, resulting in a sprained ankle. The door also did not open from the inside, which meant we often had to walk around via the passenger door. This also caused panic among the children, who felt they were locked in. The fridge door wouldn't close. So while driving, there was invariably a child with his leg against the fridge door. The fridge wasn't clean either, by the way; I removed a lot of mold before use. Unfortunately, I was half an hour late returning it (on a 2.5-hour drive), but she didn't believe the congestion and traffic jams?! However, she made the choice not to return the deposit because I returned the entire camper cleaner than we received it, but I had forgotten the gas stove! In addition, the renter stopped responding to a message about a forgotten item in the camper. After 6 weeks, it was finally returned by the owner. Mechanically speaking, it is a really nice camper; however, the defects AND the attitude of the owner have led us to decide to write this review. There are plenty of other campers!
Response from Rozemarijn
Dit was natuurlijk de recensie die te verwachten was, nadat zelfs Goboony ons gelijk heeft gegeven in dit conflict. Eveneens zou ik deze mensen ten sterkste afraden als je een fijne verhuur ervaring wenst.
