Our awesome newly converted camper van is ready for adventure.
Everything you expect from a modern camper van like this is there and more. It drives super smooth, has a powerful engine and you sleep wonderfully cozy downstairs or freely in nature on top of the roof, with a beautiful view in the morning.
After traveling a lot around the world we came to the point where we started thinking about sustainability. Especially when our daughter was on the road we came up with the idea to travel more with a camper. Europe and the surrounding countries are so incredibly beautiful!
We've already driven it through the mountains of Norway and Sweden, and to France. On the schedule is Ireland/Scotland, Spain, and Iceland.
The choice to choose this bus comes from a search for comfort, reliability and consumption. The Citroen Jumpy came out best, it drives as smoothly as a passenger car and also quite sporty because of the 150 hp. With 6 gears and cruise control it is really nice to drive for the shorter but also the longer distances. I am also quite tall (190) and that is why we chose an L3 length, which makes the bed long enough for me. Beautiful built-in spotlights make this camper a nice place to relax in the evening.
It also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for navigation and music, a reversing camera for tight turns and parking, and automatically folding mirrors.
We partly outsourced the conversion to a camper to a professional company, for example to have the pop-up roof with the extra sleeping places on top of the bus and the extra battery installed. With this battery you can camp off the grid for 2 days, including a kitchen with running water, sink and 2 burner gas stove on a bottle, two USB chargers on the battery and a 12v socket. Plus a refrigerator with freezer compartment that both remain ice and ice cold. We tested this, there are many countries with public access where you can simply spend the night somewhere out of sight for free.
Take a ride and the extra battery is full again. Or you can connect it to the camper power at the campsite, then it also charges and you can also use the 230v socket.
We wanted the camper to fit in a parking space, even in a parking garage, and everywhere the low toll rates. Thanks to euro 6 you can enter all cities, no problems with environmental zones.
The camper has 4 sleeping places, perfect for 2 adults with 2 children or a smaller family. The two of us also had a wonderful time together.
The bus comes with 2 large chairs, 2 smaller camping chairs and a large folding table.
Bed linen is also included, as well as 1x a 5cm thick topper
We made a lovely colourful camper, comfortable and yet the adventurous camping feeling. My girlfriend and I wish everyone freedom and happiness, including ourselves and our daughter. Have a nice trip!
