Dear camper traveler,
After having rented a camper via GoBoony for a year, taking a wonderful road trip through Sweden and Norway, and with 25 years of camping experience (with a caravan), we are now very proud to introduce you to our own camper, 'De Dennenappel'.
The camper is wonderfully spacious; thanks to its length of just under 7 meters, it still feels remarkably maneuverable in the city, and with the extra-powerful (150 HP!) Fiat Ducato Multi-Jet under the hood, even driving mountain passes is a sensation. With cruise control, air conditioning, camper navigation, a reversing camera, and Bluetooth phone connectivity on board, the driving pleasure is complete.
The premium brand Knaus features a remarkably spacious toilet/shower room and a fully equipped kitchen. The single beds with slatted bases and luxury mattresses ensure a good night's sleep. Thanks to the on-site TV, you can watch TV via Wi-Fi (camping) or 4G (using your own SIM data bundle).
Once you have found a nice spot, you park the camper, extend the 4-meter-wide awning, set up the luxury chairs and table, and before you know it, you are enjoying a delicious Nespresso.
There is also no need to worry if you find yourself at that one dream spot without amenities; there are no fewer than 2 solar panels on the roof, and the camper is equipped with a substantial battery and a 230V/1500W inverter to make coffee and charge phones and computers even then. The lighting is entirely LED, and because the boiler, central heating, and refrigerator also automatically switch to gas, long (4 days) wild camping is no problem.
The camper has 2 lightweight gas cylinders of 10 kg each, and that will easily last you the entire holiday.
If you wish to continue your journey immediately and are coming to pick up the camper by your own car, there is an option to park your car in the De Blinkerd community center parking lot (2 minutes by car).
Every renter receives our camper in pristine condition. Naturally, you return it just as well. This is all except for the exterior cleaning, as we prefer to do that ourselves.
We have written a fun guide about all of this, with tips, tricks, and all sorts of fun facts about our own camper. A copy will be in the camper upon departure, but we are also emailing it a few weeks in advance to get you a little bit into the holiday spirit.
