In 2020, a tired work van served as the basis for this camper. At first contact, it was almost too dirty to touch and technically neglected... but I mainly saw the advantages: sun visor, beautiful blue color, strong and powerful engine with (relatively) low mileage, and just about every option the first owner could tick back then.
Extensive maintenance and a few repairs ensured a solid starting point after purchase.
By now, there is a fully equipped camper with which you can even camp off-grid (for a few days). Only the toilet has been placed outside: guests are provided with a Portapotti.
Washbasin with 30-liter fresh and wastewater tanks, a leisure battery powered by three different sources (battery manager selects the best 'provider' itself), refrigerator with freezer compartment, 2-burner gas hob, gas BBQ, and a choice of two awnings (via keder rails).
There is room for two (electric) bicycles on the back of the camper. The bike carrier is mounted very securely and is at a low lifting height.
Two beds provide three comfortable sleeping places; cozy in the back by the pop-up windows or nice and warm up in the 'tent', under the pop-up roof, which can be fully unzipped for panoramic views.
Swivel front seats combined with the bench (from a train; reupholstered) seat four at the table.
Together with all the necessary (outdoor) furniture, crockery, and kitchen utensils, this makes this large campervan a joy to travel in. Thanks to air conditioning, cruise control, Apple/Android radio, and parking assistance (incl. camera), driving itself is also pleasant and relaxed.
I fitted out the van almost entirely myself with a lot of love and attention. This means I am proud of it and take good care of it. Naturally, I expect the same from other users, but I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for this camper and hope that everyone gets just as much enjoyment out of it as my family and I do. I would love to take you, as a renter, on 'The Grand Tour' and explain everything to you, so that you can enjoy it to the fullest!
