We had a great experience in Nicks camper. The California is in immaculate condition and easy to drive. Nicks was very helpful and provided full instructions. We are both tall & slept comfortably in the pop top & inside the van. We would definitely recommend.

This is the third time we have hired from Paul but the first time I have hired it as a lone traveller, but I absolutely loved using the camper van for a solo adventure to a small festival. I had everything I needed and more for a comfortable stay off grid for 4 nights. Paul is such a pleasure to hire from, so attentive and always on hand for any advice or guidance you might need. Instructions about how to use the van are always thorough, giving you the confidence to enjoy all the features the van has to offer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommended Paul and this van for any adventure you are considering. Thank you Paul, once again, for an excellent service.

We had a wonderful experience renting Harry the Camper from Caroline and John. From first point of contact, to returning Harry at the end of our holiday, we found Caroline and John very easy and friendly to deal with. Harry arrived immaculate, clean and felt brand new (he's clearly well looked after) He also arrived with a colouring book and pencils for our daughter (and some drinks in the fridge for us)! which was a lovely welcomed touch. We would highly recommend Harry the Camper to anyone looking for a beautiful VW camper with lovely owners. We hope to book Harry again in the future, and in the meantime, our neighbours who briefly saw Harry parked on our drive, are very keen to book him for their next holiday! Thank you again Caroline and John, Harry was a beaut!

Graeme was great- easy handover, clear expectations and good explanation of van’s features. We had a fantastic trip in spite of mixed weather, and prompt return of our deposit. All in all, exactly what we wanted!

Paul is lovely, so helpful and explained everything really carefully, so it was easy to understand how to operate everything. He was very flexible with the time we returned the van which was much appreciated and if I had a query was always on the end of the phone. We travelled to the Gower and camped at Rhossili beach for two nights in amazing weather. The van takes some getting used to driving and is quite different to a modern vehicle. I'd driven one before but not for 9 years so I took it slowly getting used to the feel of the breaks, gear stick and hand brake. It's a fab van and handled the roads and hills well. We got lots of admiring looks and smiles from everyone on the road. The van is kitted out with a camping stove and crockery. An awning, table and 2 chairs. There is no sink, fridge or cooker in the van. Its got lots of charger points for mobiles etc which is very convenient. When you pop up the roof there are lots of little lights in the roof like stars which you can change between two colours - its a lovely feature. Also functional lights all round the inside which you can switch on and off when in bed - very handy. Overall the inside has been very nicely fitted out with contemporary fittings and is really stylish. The rocknroll bed would benefit from a topper. There are curtains for the windows, but they wouldn't work on one side, but Paul is going to fix this. There was plenty of space for us and our things. We didn't get hot despite there being a heatwave as the van has good ventilation windows. Its a lovely quirky experience to hire and I'd recommend. Couldn't praise Paul highly enough for being so kind and helpful.

Peter provided a lovely van, he was a great host; very helpful and was flexible with pick-up/drop off times. He also provided very useful instruction videos that he’d made - such as great idea. I enjoyed my trip so much that I extended the time I hired the van. All essential items were provided to make the experience an easy one, even though I’d not used a camper for a while, a few extras I didn’t expect like a fab shower/tent. The van was an ideal size for me and my dog, could park anywhere and wasn’t any problem driving on narrow, hilly roads. Additional items available; awning, bbq On drop off, Peter even gave me free eggs from his own chickens!
