Our faithful 6-person Dethleffs Globetrotter Alcove camper has already taken us, our family and two young girls, to some truly beautiful places in Europe, including a 100-day trip through the Balkans.
This Globetrotter is fully equipped for a weekend getaway, or you could choose to leave tomorrow for a relaxing, longer road trip through Europe lasting several weeks.
The camper is equipped with power steering and has a powerful and smooth engine that provides the necessary comfort during longer journeys.
The front seats are comfortable and pleasant, which is important for longer distances. You can get out just as easily and refreshed after a 500km drive.
The interior offers all the necessary ergonomics. There's also a reversing camera.
Once you've arrived at your favorite spot, this 6-meter camper is still easy to handle and park. You can easily extend the awning, grab your table, chairs, and accompanying skottel braai from the spacious garage, and you'll be set up in no time.
This way, as a camper or with your family, you can fully enjoy the free and adventurous 'off-grid life'!
With two people, you'll have plenty of room inside. If you're traveling with a family, you can add an extra seat with a single rotating front seat, giving you a total of five seats. For families with children, there's a fun and practical bunk bed in the back of the camper. This creates more space inside the camper because no beds need to be folded out, leaving the seating area in the middle of the camper fully functional.
There are 6 sleeping places available if someone comes 'to visit' and stays overnight, but in practice we recommend a maximum of 4 people staying and traveling in the camper permanently.
An additional tent in the garage can be used to sleep outside with two people.
The lower bunk bed can be folded up, allowing even two bicycles to be stored in the garage. This space, however, comes at the expense of all other camping gear.
We take great care of our camper and appreciate that you, as a renter, are too.
This way we can continue to rent out our camper more frequently and with pleasure in the future.
The camper is technically inspected and maintained every season so you can expect a carefree trip and that gives you peace of mind before departure.
Pets are not allowed. No smoking. No festivals. No winter sports.
We also use the camper for our own trips.
