A beautiful camper for two people equipped with all amenities (basic shower, toilet, parking heater, solar panel, etc.) and therefore completely independent.
Drives like a passenger car.
Our Fiat Ducato is a wonderfully compact campervan, measuring 6 meters in length. It's very maneuverable, and it can easily accommodate a regular parking space.
We bought this bus in February 2025 and last year we converted it into a fully equipped camper with our own hands.
The beauty of this campervan is its handling, which is comparable to a car. It accelerates smoothly when required, has little to no trouble with hills, and the high seating position offers excellent visibility.
The seats are naturally rotatable and selected for their comfort. Combined with the excellent (sound) insulation, cruise control, and air conditioning, you'll arrive at your destination feeling refreshed, even after hours of driving!
As an added bonus, the campervan features a reversing camera. Convenient for parking, for example.
Cupboard space and refrigerator
The bus is also complete and excellently equipped for 2 people in terms of furnishings.
Wardrobe space for clothes and other items is located above the bed, above and below the refrigerator, and above the cabin. Other items can be stored under the passenger compartment and, of course, in the "garage."
In short, plenty of storage space.
Reading
Because we love reading, fixed and rotating spotlights have been installed in both the seating area and the sleeping area so that you have (reading) light in any desired position.
To enhance the atmosphere, the bus is also equipped with dimmable LED lighting, both inside and outside, which can be operated separately with a single button.
Fixed bed
The bed is 195 cm long and 160 cm wide, more than enough for two people. However, it's not recommended for people taller than 1.90 m.
Getting in and out of bed is done via the hatch, which can serve as a step in combination with the porta potti.
Solar panel and parking heater
Furthermore, the camper is equipped with 2x 165 Wp solar panels, a household battery, a 100 liter clean drinking water tank and a diesel-powered parking heater so that you can also stay in the "jungle" for longer periods of time and are independent of electricity and other luxury facilities.
The parking heater has a capacity of 2 kW, more than enough for a pleasant winter sports holiday.
In addition to heat, the parking heater also has a ventilation position to make warm days more pleasant.
Toilet and shower
The camper is equipped with a simple porta potty; however, we usually use the toilet facilities at a campsite.
The shower facilities are, as mentioned, basic. It's a handheld shower that you use outside the camper.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a two-burner gas stove, a sink with running water, four lockable drawers, and two cabinets for various utensils. Cutlery, plates, pans, and other accessories are part of the standard inventory.
As mentioned, this campervan's length makes it perfectly suitable for city driving. However, it's too tall for a parking garage. That's why, if we want to stay in the city for a longer period, we always take our bikes. We drive to the edge of town with the campervan, grab the bikes from the rack, and are even more flexible than walking, if that's possible. Plus, you can take more with you!
Inventory
In addition to kitchen utensils, the inventory also includes two camping chairs and a height-adjustable table. Other camping gear is always welcome upon request, such as mats, panniers, or even boules.
Well, almost too many to mention, and I haven't even mentioned the roof hatches with an inward or outward-facing fan, the insulating blackout blind, the extra storage space under the folding compartment, etc.
In short, a fully equipped camper for a wonderful holiday.
