Afgesproken met muziekvrienden om een weekend naar een camping met een haventje te gaan. Het ene stel zijn doorgewinterde campergebruikers en het andere stel hebben een zeiljacht. Afgelopen week op pad geweest met de " Gouwe Ouwe" Het was even wennen met het rijden van zo'n Gouwe Ouwe maar dat verliep uiteindelijk heel soepel Rustig van Friesland naar Drenthe gereden. Aangekomen op plek van bestemming heb je alles bij de hand. Deze camper is van alle gemakken voorzien en een goed bed dus wat wil je nog meer. Wij hebben de camper een aantal dagen mee gehad als 'slaapplek' tijdens een 4 daagse trip als korpsbegeleiders tijdens het WMC in Kerkrade. We hadden hem op het terrein van de kampeerboerderij onder de bomen staan, helemaal prima. Het bed (omgebouwde dinette) is helemaal top qua lengte en breedte. We hebben heerlijk geslapen. Werkelijk alles wat je nodig hebt, is aan boord, overal is aan gedacht. De stoelen voorin zitten fantastisch. Enige minpuntje voor ons was de herrie van de motor maar dat was inherent aan feit dat we niet aan het toeren waren maar van A naar B gingen over de snelweg. Beter neem je de toeristische route, dan minder last hiervan. Brandstofkosten waren dientengevolge ook wat aan de hoge kant door hoog verbruik. Al met al een prima ervaring en Esther en Chris waren super vriendelijk en behulpzaam in de aanloop naar onze trip. August 2022
