I have owned this camper for 4 years now and thoroughly enjoy the trips we take with her. It is a 1999 Fiat Dethleff Globetrotter and we call her 'Coby Dethleff'. Coby is only 5.5 meters long, but inside she feels remarkably spacious. What is nice... Coby fits in every parking space. On the dashboard is a large, old-fashioned reversing camera that still works perfectly, so reversing and turning is a breeze.
This camper is truly my 'happy bubble'; the inside has been pimped into a boho paradise. Coby already regularly goes on trips with our friends, and now the time has finally come for everyone to go on fun journeys with her.
There are 4 sleeping places: there is a large double bed in the alcove and the dinette can be converted into a double bed. We ensure that freshly washed bedding and towels are provided with every new rental. This way, all you have to do is step inside and your adventure can begin.
If you are heading out in a camper for the first time, it takes quite a bit of figuring out how everything works (I speak from experience). That is why I have created a clear manual on how everything works; it will save you hours of searching online.
Coby is of course an older lady, so we have to be a bit careful with her. Driving at around 100 km/h is very comfortable. What about the mountains? We drove through the French Pyrenees and that went fine, going up (and down) slowly of course, but when you're on vacation, it's all about the journey, right? :)
Your pets are welcome to travel with you in Coby, but please let us know in advance and always ensure that the camper is returned clean and free of hair.
Just one more thing:
Please return the camper clean.
Empty grey water tank and toilet cassette.
Fuel tank full upon drop-off (it is also full upon pick-up)
No cleaning fees if the camper is returned clean.
Any cleaning costs (€60) will be deducted from the deposit afterwards.
Are you ready to go out with Coby?
