Hello camper,
How nice that you are interested in our camper!
In 2022 we rented a camper for the first time through Goboony and made a trip. What a fantastic freedom. After the first stop we looked at each other and said "We want this too"!
We looked at a lot of advertisements and thought about what we want and what we don't want.
In July 2023 we bought our 2012 Laika. This met all our wishes and we made a good decision here. Trial weekends away to try everything out and see what else we need.
In September of that year we traveled through France with it. Due to our work, it took almost two weeks, but it felt like a lot longer. And as the platform indicates, too many campers are standing still, including ours. A shame, because it is a fantastic car to travel with. If you want to know whether "camping" is something for you, we have decided, after thinking about it very carefully, to rent out ours. After all, we have also become "infected" in this way.
Our motto is that the destination is the journey itself. We do not do hours-long journeys. Leave in the morning and arrive at the next location around lunch time.
We like modern technology and safety and have immediately made some adjustments, such as;
- replaced the outdated audio with a double DIN audio system with Apple and Android CarPlay.
- a TomTom Go Camper Max navigation system, in which the dimensions of the camper are entered, so that (if all goes well) narrow streets and low viaducts are avoided.
- a new DuoControl gas regulator with built-in crash sensor, so you can now drive it safely while the gas tap is open and the refrigerator is running on gas. Very useful if you stop along the way to do some shopping, for example.
- Have a MaxxFan installed. Great for extracting cooking smells or blowing in fresh air. Top device. And this can also be turned on while driving because it functions on 12v.
Did we mention there is a satellite dish on the roof? A digital smart card from Canal Digitaal can be activated if desired.
In addition, you can also take our Nespresso and quite complete inventory with you.
In short, the camper is ready to travel with you!
Bring your own:
duvets, covers, pillows, pillowcases, fitted sheets, towels and kitchen textiles.
Two gas bottles of 5kg each are weighed upon departure and again upon return. What you have used will be charged or paid in cash.
You will receive the camper with a full fuel tank (90 liters of diesel).
You must also ensure that the fuel tank is full when you return it.
The camper will also be delivered to you clean on the inside.
We expect to receive the camper back clean on the inside, with an empty and cleaned toilet cassette.
Upon departure, we will go through an inventory list of the camper together. We will go through this list again when you return.
Damage, defect, breakdown or anything to the camper itself must be reported to us immediately. This way we can estimate whether the next rental period is at risk or not.
