This Benimar Cocoon 481 on a Ford chassis (2025) is also known as the space wonder. It is an innovative semi-integrated motorhome that combines compactness with a surprisingly spacious living area thanks to the unique open space concept.

The kitchen and bathroom (separate shower) are also considerably larger than average simply because there is no bed (2m long) at the rear. As a result, the interior space is spacious, even though the motorhome is only 6 meters long. The Cocoon 481 therefore offers significantly more driving comfort due to its limited length. The electric double bed (lift bed) is integrated into the ceiling; it lowers to your desired height with the push of a button. The seating area can be converted into a second double bed in no time. A smart interior layout, therefore, combined with great driving comfort.

The motorhome is a Deluxe version with a leather interior, leather steering wheel, light sensors, rain sensors, parking sensors, automatic headlight and high beam activation ('fares'), lane assist, collision mitigation braking system, automatic cabin air conditioning, speed sign recognition, wrong-way driver warning, cruise control, fatigue alert system, digital touchscreen control panel, tow bar (for bicycle carrier), and so on. You drive with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a 165 hp engine, allowing you to drive smoothly in the mountains as well.

A powerful 200 W solar panel is provided for the living area. A turbo fan (always fresh air and optimal ventilation), a large fridge/freezer (gas/battery/solar panel), a high-end canopy, and an inverter (from 12 V to 220 V) are just some of the benefits offered by this specific model.

The motorhome is designed for 4 people (e.g., 2 adults, 2 children), but is even more comfortable for 2 people. Personally, I would advise against the motorhome for 4 adults. While the driving comfort for 4 is optimal, and the interior layout is naturally excellent as well (see above), the sleeping comfort is likely to be inferior.
