Our motorhome is barely a year old but already has plenty of travel experience. Together with our dog, we have traveled around for many months, mainly in Norway and Sweden. In addition, we have made short trips to the coast in the Netherlands or the south of France. We find this motorhome to be spacious and comfortable, and very suitable for autonomous camping: a large fridge with freezer, a full-sized bathroom with shower, space for 2 gas bottles, solar panels, and an extra lithium battery to which 4 sockets are connected. And if you don't feel like reading a book or enjoying a drink outside under the awning, there is also a screen to which you can connect your laptop to stream. Because we both often work remotely, a large table is important, as well as sufficient seating space. Or we used the beds at the back as "seating space" while the other worked at the table. The cupboards under the bed (even in the floor!) are handy, one of which has a clothes rail.
The alcove is ideal for the kids, for someone who needs a lot of space, or simply as extra storage. Despite its size, the car drives smoothly and effortlessly. Just be mindful of old bridges and tunnels due to the height!
Since we traveled in Norway most of the time, length was important to us: 6.99m. In Norway, tolls on roads and ferries are based on length. However, in France, length plays absolutely no role, but height does. And then the tolls really do add up, with a height of 3.28m. Our advice for France: drive on secondary roads. Besides, you see more and it is much more pleasant to drive.
We offer the motorhome with made-up beds, kitchen equipment (pots, pans, cutlery, plates), sanitary products, stackable storage bins, a camping table with 2 chairs, and an outdoor rug. Additionally, in the garage you will find standard accessories for stable parking, a water hose, straps to secure items, and an extension cord.
You can leave with a full diesel tank, a half-full water tank, and sufficient gas.
Please note that fines are always the responsibility of the tenant, and deep fryers, candles, heaters, and smoking are prohibited.
The camper is rented only to persons domiciled in Belgium.
We charge a cleaning fee of 100 euros unless the motorhome is cleaned upon return.
Upon return, we ask:
- filled diesel tank
- half-full water tank to be filled only with clean drinking water
- cleaned but not a car wash
- Toilet and waste water tank empty and flushed. If this is not carried out, we will charge 50 euros.
- fines are always at the expense of the tenant
Deep fryers, candles, petroleum heaters, and smoking are prohibited.
The camper is only rented to persons domiciled in Belgium.
