Even though we have only just acquired our new camper, we still want to make it accessible to others.
This way, you can experience for yourself how free you are when you venture into nature. With a few clothes, some toiletries, sturdy walking shoes, beach chairs, or bicycles, you can head to the Ardennes, the coast, or further afield.
That's why we bought a 'compact' camper (walk, eat, sleep, repeat) where you can find the necessary comfort, while living in luxury outdoors.
A spacious bed, plenty of overhead cupboards, a handy kitchenette with a gas stove, storage space, water, and a refrigerator are just what we consider normal. Kitchen utensils are included.
You eat outside (awning, check!), and if it's too cold you do it inside on the swivel seats (with 'poo heater').
For our comfort, we opted for a solar panel to keep the refrigerator running, and an inverter that allows you to plug in (when there's enough sun during the day, or with the charged battery after riding). This way, you can recharge your computer or bike battery :-). So you don't necessarily have to go to a campsite or charge/pay for electricity. USB chargers are plentiful.
Our campervan got an outdoor shower from Westfalia! If that's a step too far, you can do it inside the shower.
Besides the camping comfort, we also wanted a good drive. 180 hp, automatic transmission, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition... how convenient is that! You connect your phone via Android Auto, and then you can just listen to your favorite music, podcast, or audio story. Google Maps pops up every now and then.
At the back, under the bed, you'll find the "garage." Plenty of space to store whatever you want to take with you. That's where we put the folding chairs and table you'll be taking with you on your trip.
A tow bar was a must, we like to cycle around in cities or anywhere else.
If necessary, you can rent a bicycle rack from us.
Who do we expect to rent from us? Couples who will treat our campervan with respect and appreciate its value. Two children can travel on the back seat (Isofix), but they must be able to sleep in a tent. We can provide one if needed.
Of course, 4 adults are also possible, and even then, 2 people can fit in the tent.
Completely excited? Feel free to send me a message without obligation. I'll respond by that same evening at the latest.
It's up to you!!
