We have always considered our campervan as our second home.
So it is fully equipped with everything you need for a great tour.
It has an original Volkswagen interior with a refrigerator, gas stove, table, and storage space. There are two comfortable chairs, and a table for outdoor use is built into the door. Womi also has an awning, a tow bar, and a bike rack for four bikes.
The front seats can be rotated to create a cozy interior space for 4 in no time.
If there are two of you, you don't have to do anything to go to sleep: just press the button and your bed is made up. Wake up wonderfully with a view of nature on three sides.
With 4, the rear seat can also be transformed into a comfortable bed.
There's no built-in shower or toilet, but we have a water bag with a pump and shower head. So we never really lacked any comfort. Even in winter, the parking heater keeps you nice and warm inside.
It's still a campervan, of course, so the adventure of basic travel should appeal to you. The nature, the tranquility, the unique spots you'd otherwise never stay overnight... Pure enjoyment.
Please note: this is not a 4x4 all-terrain vehicle, so it is only suitable for good road conditions.
The van is still in good condition, but not perfect. There are a few hiccups here and there. If you plan for these beforehand, they certainly won't spoil your enjoyment.
Gear 1
When you put the car in first gear, the gear sometimes doesn't seem to engage immediately.
Don't panic! Just try again and it will work itself out.
Radio/GPS
The built-in radio/GPS no longer works.
Because it is an older system, we are not replacing it anymore.
A mobile phone navigates just as easily, right? To accompany you with music, we'll give you a Bluetooth speaker.
Electric roof operation
The button that allows you to operate the electric roof requires a special touch.
Once you find the right 'suit' it still works perfectly.
! Lowering the roof!
Don't forget to pull down the loft bed!
Make sure that the windows or doors are open so that the roof cloth is not put under pressure.
The fabric should fold back in neatly. This will happen automatically once the air pressure is released, but when closing the hood, always check that the fabric doesn't get caught in the roof. If necessary, you should guide the fabric back in.
Dishwashing bowl
We leave the plastic container in the pump tank for the dirty water.
You can then easily dispose of that water outside. This prevents a dirty water tank and unpleasant odors. So, it's best not to flush dirty water down the pump tank.
Curtains
Make sure you pull the roller blinds straight down. Otherwise, they'll fray and fray.
It's best to gently pull the curtains on the windshield parallel to each other and secure them in the middle with a rubber band. The magnet isn't strong enough to hold them together.
To cook
When cooking, you must remove the plastic container in the pump tank, otherwise it will melt in the gas fire.
We recommend pushing the bed up when cooking
release the light before pushing the roof up
While cooking, be sure to open a window to allow the moist fumes to escape.
Make sure the burners are off before closing the glass lid. Always lower the lid gently.
Bicycle rack
Use the shortest and longest bars to secure your bikes and strap the wheels securely with the black straps.
When folding, don't forget to strap the rack.
Parking assistance
The parking assistance sound is not reliable.
So rely solely on yourself or get assistance from your fellow travelers.
