What a fantastic camper! It's cozy and comfortable, with everything you need on board. It also drives really nicely. We used it for a road trip along the Portuguese coast, and it was perfect for the trip. Pedro is an excellent owner: he took plenty of time to explain everything clearly, responds quickly to questions, and also gave us some great tips for the best spots to camp. In short, highly recommended!

We did a 10-day roadtrip along the west and south coast of Portugal, and it was an incredible experience! It was our first time traveling with a camper, but Pedro made sure everything went very smoothly. He gave us a super warm welcome, took the time to explain everything clearly, and even afterward, we could always text him if we had any questions. He also shared some possible stopover spots, which allowed us to enjoy the BEST views! Waking up in nature with a sea view is one of the main reasons we chose this way of traveling, and it definitely did not disappoint! :-) The camper itself is super cozy and has everything you need. It’s easy to drive, and parking was no problem at all. We would absolutely rent from Van Captain again and highly recommend it to everyone!

We just got back from the most unforgettable camper van trip from Lisbon and down along the southern coast of Portugal - and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better. From start to finish, it was a 10/10 experience. Our host Pedro just made everything super genuine and smooth. All the way through he was friendly, humble and responsive. He made everything feel easy - from the booking to the handoff, he was clear, relaxed and gave us all the info we needed without overcomplicating anything. You could tell he really cared about making sure we had a great trip. The van itself had everything we could’ve asked for: a comfy bed (slept like a rock), a little kitchen with a gas stove, a toilet and shower, great sound system and small windows (one in the back and one on the side), so we could fall asleep and wake up to insane views. Plus, it was a smooth drive the van whole way without any issues. Pedro also gave us amazing food tips and personal recommendations for spots along the coast (the spots he goes to himself). Some of the places we parked up for the night were honestly unreal. Waking up with the ocean right outside the door is something we won’t forget anytime soon. If you’re thinking about doing a camper van trip in Portugal, we’d 100% recommend going with Van Captain. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
