Ford

We had the privilege of being one of the first guests to rent this new Ford Nugget. Beautiful car, with ingenious thinking: ° Every cm is optimally used to transport passengers + luggage. ° Equipped for 4 people and in terms of sleeping space that is certainly fine. ° In terms of room to move (and moving luggage when converting) I would only really recommend it for 4 people in the summer, either with a trailer or an extra tent. Compactness always requires a little room comfort. We went with only 2 people, and that went really well! We didn't use the upstairs sleeping place, so the roof didn't even have to be opened. The hostess and host are extremely friendly and really pampered us more than expected. A few little extras ensured that relaxed holiday feeling, which always starts a bit exciting. As well as a good briefing in advance (e.g. in terms of electronics on board). The Ford Transit Nugget was unprecedented for us, but it is a special spicy car, even in the mountains. I would even say, spicier than a VW van. • Our consumption was 8.5 liters (= little, considering its weight). 6 gears, many automatic options, and (not unimportantly) allowed in all European LE zones • The Ford Nugget does not look like a classic camper (-> you can drive/park in zones where normal mobile homes are not allowed) • You can go from the driver's seat to the kitchen or trunks at the back, without getting out. • You can cook without having to fold up your big bed every day (necessary with a normal camper van). • The back door serves as a large (functional) shelter, just like the retractable awning. • We went skiing with the camper, but beware, everything requires some mature organization to keep things clean and handy. No festival bus! • Swiveling front seats. Tip: practice converting the back seat into a bed in advance. • The compact camper had everything you need: kitchen, drinking & gray water, toilet, (outdoor) shower, heating, storage cupboards, extra gas fire, pots, pans, cutlery, plates and bags. Only bring (under) sheets + sleeping bag / blanket. The car is located in Lummen (crossroads of the 2 Flemish “Routes De Soleil” E313 and E314). We could leave our own car there. All this made it the ideal choice for us to drive from Antwerp to Winterberg and stay there for a few nights in a very budget-friendly way. Worth repeating! David & Alex

for us (my sister and me) it was the first time we would do a trip like this, with a campervan. we didn't know what to think of it and asked Elke if we could come and have a look. we have been very warmly received and received the full explanation. very warm people. then made the booking. the day of departure again had the explanation. everything was in perfect condition, everything went super well. we felt like royalty. when returning everything went very smoothly. I think we have thought of everything regarding cleanliness. Elke and Wouter were pleased that everything had gone so well. Elke and Wouter had prepared this new camper nicely for us, very neat and with everything you need. We received a cordial and thorough explanation of the what and how, so that we could leave with peace of mind. It is a compact camper that drives very easily, even on hills and, for example, the steep streets of Liège. It was also easy to park in the city. We learned from this experience that it is mainly a camper to use in good weather so that you can easily live outside and put things outside. We had transferred our suitcases in the loading area and this was necessary, so think carefully about this in advance. It's a van, but you can't just put all your suitcases in it; it remains a Tiny house on wheels where every object and thing gets its own place. It is ideal to get to know everything well in good weather (this folds up in no time, there is that lever...) so that you simply have an automatic system in bad weather and can switch quickly. The beds are ok, the heating is definitely a plus. I would especially recommend it for two people, it remains a smaller model camper. The nice warm hospitality and easy accessibility of Elke and Wouter is certainly a plus! Have fun!

This Camper is highly recommended, everything is there and drives super nice. Also Elke and Wouter are very correct and pleasant to deal with.

It was our first experience in a small camper and we really liked it and everything went smoothly thanks to Wouter's good explanation when picking up the camper. The camper has everything you need and we slept wonderfully under the roof. The camper was very clean, which we really appreciated.
