We’re a retired couple (and a dog), and it was our first time hiring a campervan, to judge if we want to buy one. We hired for 4 days around the Peak District and N.Yorkshire. Communication with Alex was friendly, clear and prompt, and he was flexible regarding collection and return timing. Alex has built his van to be thoughtfully-equipped and remarkably off-grid capable. We found the full-size bed very comfortable, and the van included everything you could need. It’s quite imposing with all-terrain tyres, top box and the inspired rooftop viewing platform. We greatly enjoyed the experience, and if we don’t buy, would certainly consider renting Alex’s van again.

Valentina wasn’t at the handover and there was a problem with the bed so we had to leave without the van and it was brought to us later that day once it was fixed. The van drove well and was a great home for the duration of the festival we went to as volunteer helpers. It had been said that we would be compensated for the problem at the beginning but this never happened. However we enjoyed the van and it was comfortable for two of us. We would have booked it for another festival end of July but we were told it may be sold and not available.

We had a great time from start to finish in Craig’s campervan, Craig ran through everything we needed to know and the videos were a massive help as we could always go back to them if we were unsure about something in the van. It was very well equipped and we will definitely be renting again for our next trip. Would highly recommend. Thanks very much!

This is a magnificent motorhome. Brilliant space, really useful storage, great bathroom, comfy beds, great engine. Ian did a detailed handover and was swiftly responsive over a couple of questions I had on our trip to the Lake District.

Rebecca and Michael made the pickup and drop off very easy, so we could collect early and return later. It was our first time in a campervan and Noah was very comfortable to sleep in and easy to drive. The van was in great condition inside and out. Would highly recommend.

Handover was very easy and Christopher was responsive and very helpful. The van was great! If you like a van with character and life experience this is the one. It has a few quirks and Christopher provides excellent written instructions. I had such fun touring around Devon and Cornwall. Easy to pitch with everything you need. Highly recommend!

Yeah hand over went very well Wayne was really helpful. Went to stonehendge for summer solstice. Such a lovely van would def hire it again for sure. He always stayed in touch from start to finish. Just enough size for 2 people and my dog. Everything was easy to use and he also had basically everything ypu need so you dont need to bring with you. Thanks Wayne peace and light

This camper was clean, well equipped and easy to use (even for complete beginners like us!). Sonja was friendly and gave a detailed tour of the van before we set off on our NC500 trip. We liked that this was a personal camper rather than a rental business one as it had some lovely little touches inside. If you've never driven a camper or van before this one is the perfect one to start with - small enough to fit through the tiny single track roads of the 500 but big enough to relax in when the weather took a turn. We really enjoyed our trip and would recommend this camper!

Thank you Dale for the use of “Ronnie”. “Perfect vehicle for our 7 night NC500 road trip” Having had a tourer caravan, we were familiar, however Dale explained everything about the functionality & amenities onboard. We did a video whilst he explained so we could refer back if required. Fully equipped with utensils, plates, cups along with both electric & whistle kettle. Fridge is a decent size & has small frozen compartment. WC onboard also, very handy on a long journey It also has a shower, however wasn’t needed as we used the facilities at the various camp sites on route but useful if required. Two outdoor camping chairs & table also included & was lovely sat outside to admire the stunning views. All you need to take is your clothes, food & bedding (we used sleeping bags as they were easy to store away) Had a fantastic time, loved driving it and would highly recommend it. Thank you again.
