Booked this van for a short break in the Dales. Pick up and drop off was easy and straightforward. Lovely van, well kept and very clean & tidy. We enjoyed our short break, thanks Mandy & family. Would recommend using them.

The handover went smoothly and was relatively quick and easy. We went to We Out Here Festival, and the stay was made special having the camper to sleep and relax in. It had plenty of room, and essentially everything we needed just like home albeit smaller scale. The bed was comfy and big, plenty of electric and water, we didn't have to think about that, all un all great camper and people.

Stunning, eye-catching van that was really cool to drive and got loads of attention. Came with camping chairs, windscreen cover for privacy, mattress for the pop top and roll out bed. Angela was excellent at communicating and always there to help. There were a few things that weren't available / working, which was quite inconvenient so I can't give it 5 stars but overall it was a decent van. Things to note, there is no air con in the van, so driving 3 hours during a heatwave was VERY uncomfortable. The passenger window control on the driver's side was not working (which was pointed out to me on handover day) so I couldn't operate it while I was driving. There is a phone charger in the front, but it's only for USB-C so I wasn't able to plug in (the lead was coming out of the air vent so you can't access wherever it's plugged into to change the cable). There's no apple CarPlay or built in satnav, so you'll have to follow your phone (and hope the battery doesn't run out if you can't plug it in). There was an option to connect to bluetooth on the screen settings but my phone couldn't pick it up. The fridge was pretty useless in the heat and a bit smelly, although the freezer compartment was quite good (not frozen, but it was cold). The water bottle under the sink was the wrong size for the hose attachment so I wasn't able to connect it to the tap - Angela said she put the wrong bottle under there. The pop top bed was only just long enough for me, at 5'6" with my feet right at the end and my head at the top of the ledge. Other campers I've stayed in have a sliding hatch to enclose the roof section to give you more lying space for your pillows, but this didn't have that. The USB port in the back was not working (Angela mentioned this on handover) so I was supplied with 2 power banks instead, which was fine for me on my own, but would've struggled if there were more people with me. The heater didn't work as the leisure battery was low/flat - I reported this to Angela and she said she'd just replaced it so maybe a loose connection somewhere. So yes it was a very cool (hot!) van to drive and a real head turner, but a few annoying things broken on it were quite inconvenient. Angela is aware of all the above things that weren't working and said she'd get them sorted so hopefully will be sorted for the next people. Great communication and very quick to respond to questions. Excellent handover.

We went away as a family of 4 to Cornwall in Bumblebee last week. Neil & Bumblebee made this entire holiday an absolute delight. The whole process was simple, efficient and full of thoughtful kindness. Neil lent us any things we did not have for camping. Bumblebee got so many waves of respect on the road & made friends at all the campsites we stayed at. Could not recommend Neil & Bumblebee more highly - totally excellent.

We’ve just returned from our first ever motorhome adventure to the Lake District in Goldie, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. First of all, Goldie is AMAZING! She is absolutely huge inside and there is so much room. The main island bed was perfectly comfortable, although I’d definitely recommend taking your own pillows 🙂 The real surprise was the massive drop-down double bed. It is enormous and easily big enough for two big kids. In fact, it’s actually longer than the main island bed! I’m 6’1” and, although I slept on the island bed, I would have been more comfortable off up top! We drove Goldie all the way up to the Lake District and back and had absolutely no issues whatsoever. She was incredibly comfortable on the drive and, once you get used to the size, she is surprisingly easy and enjoyable to drive... We drove her through the tight lanes of Keswick with no issues at all. For the entire trip we spent around £350 in diesel which was approx 700 miles. There is a little learning curve when you first arrive, hooking up the electric, connecting the water, sorting the gas and, of course, the glamorous job of emptying the toilet cassette! 😂 But once you’ve got the hang of everything, it becomes really simple and, strangely enough, actually quite good fun. The biggest thing for us, though, was how lovely and helpful the owners were. They were fantastic from start to finish, incredibly accommodating and made everything really easy for us. They even kindly extended our return time by an extra hour, which made the journey home so much more relaxed. Goldie was absolutely perfect for our family and made our Lake District trip even more special. We would 100% recommend Goldie and her lovely owners and would happily hire her again. Thank you so much for helping make our first motorhome adventure such a memorable one! 🚐❤️🏞️

Friendly handover. Unfortunately we didn't have the heating plugged in and was a genuine error but if people have that problem again the plug is under the driver seat haha
