RENTAL CONDITIONS (GTC) - 2026
The purpose of these GTC is to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the rental of camping pitches and/or rental accommodation within the Peyrelade campsite. By reserving a pitch and/or accommodation within the campsite, the client acknowledges having read and accepted these GTC.
1/ Services - Rates
➢ Touring pitch
This is a camping pitch for a tent, caravan or motor home. The price of the stay is calculated on the basis of a basic package which includes the rental of the pitch with connection to the electricity network, the possibility for 2 people to stay there, to install a tent, a caravan or a motor home, a vehicle in addition to the tent or the caravan, as well as access to the reception facilities, to the entertainment and to the sanitary facilities. Two types of packages are available:
Comfort option: a pitch for 2 people, a camper van or a car/motorbike with a tent or caravan.
Privilege option: Comfort option located on the riverbank.
Freecamp package: Comfort package with private bathroom facilities and kitchenette.
Additional costs (extra person, extra vehicle, pets...) are not included in the above packages and are charged extra.
➢ Rental accommodation and Freecamp package
Prices include the rental of the accommodation according to the number of people (depending on the capacity of the accommodation), water, gas and electricity charges, parking for one vehicle, access to reception facilities, entertainment and sanitary facilities. A deposit of €300 (mobile home) or €150 (Freecamp) is required on arrival and is returned at the end of the stay or at the latest within a week of the departure date. The campsite reserves the right to keep part or all of it in case of damage to the accommodation and/or its contents and/or equipment on the campsite. This deposit does not constitute a limit of liability. An additional sum of €35 to €120 (depending on the type of accommodation) may be retained as a cleaning fee if the cleaning has not been carried out on departure.
➢ Common provisions
The services offered are provided at the rates in force on the website www.campingpeyrelade.com or on any information medium of the campsite at the time the customer places the order. The prices are expressed in Euros including VAT. The prices indicated are subject to change and the campsite reserves the right to modify the prices at any time. Stays will be invoiced based on the rates in force on the day of the reservation. Offers and promotions are not retroactive and cannot be combined.
➢ Tourist tax and eco-contribution
The eco-contribution, and the tourist tax collected on behalf of the local authority per night and per person over 18 years old and is not included in the rates.
2/ Booking conditions
➢ Terms and conditions for booking a touring pitch
Reservations can be made on the website www.campingpeyrelade.com or by post.
All reservation requests must be accompanied by:
- a deposit of 240 € for a Comfort option or 270 € for a Privilege option
- and the cancellation insurance fee (if taken out).
The reservation becomes effective after acceptance by the campsite and written confirmation by e-mail or by post summarizing the information relating to the stay. The balance of the price of the stay must be paid on arrival at the campsite.
Conditions for renting a touring pitch
Arrivals and departures take place every day.
➢ Terms and conditions for booking accommodation or a Freecamp package
Reservations can be made on our website www.campingpeyrelade.com or by post.
All reservation requests must be accompanied by:
- payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price of the stay
- and the contribution for the cancellation insurance (if subscribed).
The reservation becomes effective after acceptance by the campsite and written confirmation by e-mail or by post summarizing the information relating to the stay. The balance of the price of the stay, including the tourist tax, must be paid at the latest 30 days before the start of the stay. If the balance is not paid within the above-mentioned period, the stay is considered as cancelled and the cancellation conditions described below apply.
Any reservation made less than 30 days before the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Conditions for renting accommodation
From early July to late August, arrivals and departures are on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays or Wednesdays, depending on the type of accommodation, for periods of 7 days. For other periods, there are no set arrival and departure days, but a minimum of 2 nights is required except for short stays with a public holiday where the minimum is 3 nights.
➢ No right of withdrawal
According to Article L. 221-28 12° of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation, transport, catering and leisure services provided on a specific date or at a specific time.
➢ Maximum capacity
For safety and insurance reasons, the number of occupants may not exceed the capacity provided for by the type of accommodation (1 to 6 people maximum, depending on the capacity of the accommodation) and 6 people maximum for a touring pitch, including newborns.
➢ Clientele - Minors
Unaccompanied minors are not allowed during the whole stay.
➢ Accepted methods of payment
Credit card, bank transfer, cheque (30 days before arrival), holiday vouchers, cash.
3/ Stay
➢ Availability
Touring pitches are available from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival until 12 noon on the day of departure.
The accommodation is available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure, according to an appointment made in advance for the inventory check. (48 hours in advance)
➢ Late arrival and early departure
In the event of late arrival or early departure in relation to the dates mentioned on the booking confirmation, the full amount of the stay will remain due. No refund will be possible for the part of the stay not carried out.
➢ Animals
Pets are accepted (except category 1 and 2 dogs) under the responsibility of their owners, for a fee payable at the time of booking. They must be kept on a lead, tattooed and vaccinated, and under no circumstances may they be left unattended at their location or in the rental property. The vaccination booklet is compulsory and must be up to date.
➢ Internal rules
A set of rules and regulations is displayed at the entrance to the establishment and at the reception. The Client is required to read and respect them. They are available on request.
➢ Visitors
Visitors are allowed during the day (but not overnight) under the responsibility of their host, after reporting their presence at the reception desk. For insurance reasons, access to the swimming pool is strictly forbidden for persons not belonging to the campsite, including visitors, as is the use of the showers.
➢ Image
Once the reservation has been validated, the campsite is authorized to use photographs and/or videos taken within the establishment in which the client, as well as the people accompanying him/her, are likely to appear, for the purposes of animation and/or communication. Any specific refusal must be notified to the campsite by e-mail or letter.
➢ Unavailability of certain services
One or more of the services offered by the campsite (swimming pool, restaurant, activities, entertainment, etc.) may be temporarily unavailable without the campsite being held responsible and this situation may not give rise to any refund of price, whether partial or total.
4/ Cancellation of stay
➢ Cancellation or interruption of stay
Any cancellation of a stay must be notified in writing (by e-mail or post).
For a camping pitch the deposit will be reimbursed for a cancellation notified at least one month before the planned arrival date. A cancellation fee of 30 Euros will be retained. The cancellation insurance premium, if taken out, will not be refunded. For any cancellation made less than 30 days before the planned date of arrival, all sums paid shall be retained by the campsite.
For rented accommodation the following amounts will be withheld or remain due as compensation for breach of contract:
- an amount equal to 30% of the total cost of the stay, for a cancellation notified in writing more than 30 days before the planned date of arrival
- an amount equal to the total cost of the stay, for a cancellation notified in writing less than 31 days before the planned date of arrival or if the customer does not show up on that date.
In the absence of a written message from the client stating that he/she has had to postpone the date of arrival, the pitch or accommodation becomes available 24 hours after the date of arrival stipulated in the rental contract. The campsite reserves the right to re-let the pitch and/or the accommodation without this giving rise to any refund or compensation.
➢ Cancellation and interruption insurance
Cancellation and interruption of stay insurance is offered at the time of booking. This insurance is taken out by the campsite with the firm Gritchen, 27 rue Charles Durand CS70139 - 18021 BOURGES CEDEX. The general conditions governing this insurance contract are available on the campsite website and on www.gritchen.fr.
5/ Complaints - Disputes
➢ Applicable law
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the operations arising from them are governed by and subject to French law, they are written in French and if they are translated into one or more foreign languages, only the French text shall be deemed authentic in the event of a dispute.
➢ Mediation
In the event of a dispute and after having referred the matter to the campsite's complaints department, any campsite customer may refer the matter to a consumer ombudsman within a maximum period of one year from the date of the written complaint sent to the campsite by registered mail. 6/ Protection of personal data
When making a reservation or during a stay, certain personal data may be collected and processed by the campsite.
This data is collected and processed on the following basis:
- The consent of the client
- The need to enable the execution of a reservation contract
The data collected is processed for the following purposes:
- The execution of the reservation contract
- The management of the customer relationship
- The execution of commercial prospecting actions
- Management of the establishment's accounts
The data collected will be kept for the duration of the contractual relationship plus 5 years for the purposes of promotion and canvassing, without prejudice to the obligations of conservation or limitation periods.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 and the European Data Protection Regulation, individuals have the right to access their personal data, the right to rectify it, the right to erase it (the right to be forgotten), the right to object, the right to limit processing and the right to portability. Each person also has the right to define directives relating to the conservation, deletion and communication of their personal data after their death. The people concerned by the processing operations also have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to their situation, to the processing of data concerning them.
