Camping de La Gartempe

Liked: Lovely staff. Excellent food

Could be better: Improve pool area, soap for toilets

Could be better: The hedges need cutting and a bit more attention to the grass areas

Liked: Pitch perfect. Hot showers, everything is very clean. Fabulous hosts, very welcoming. We have stayed here many times and also during the high season when the beautiful pool was open. Location is perfect for walkers. We have 5 walks we follow with our dogs. The reception has the details.

Could be better: We would spend our Christmas here if it was open. Only 90 minutes from our home. Everything is perfect.

Liked: What a charming site, generous pitches, clean facilities, friendly staff, and set just in the village, would definitely return and recommend

Liked: Not too many pitches, shade, open space. Wonderful staff. Great snackbar , at good rice's, overlooking tge river, pool and crazy golf. Good ablution blocks. Everywhere clean.

Liked: Our 3rd visit to Camping La Gartempe. Pretty site, well located for the A20 motorway, half an hour north of Limoges. Basic and fairly simple. Showers and toilets clean and work well. Not many pitches, some bigger than others. Lovely swimming pool down the bottom of a steep hill, on the banks of La Gartempe river. Bread and pastries available. Very reasonable cost.

Could be better: It's just fine as it is.

Liked: We have visited many times and have never been disappointed. Top facilities, value for money and a warm welcome always received from the helpful hosts. We will return.

Liked: We wish we had stayed longer. Very nice camping with all the facilities you need to enjoy your holiday.

Liked: Sehr schöne Lage, man kann gut mit dem Hund spazieren gehen, es gibt einen Pool zur Abkühlung.
