We have just got back from taking Lola on a little road trip over the Easter weekend. This being the first time we have hired a camper so was a little bit nervous upon booking but after a few brief messages with Dean they quickly went away.
The hand over went well and Dean and his partner Caroline were there to meet me and gave me a tour off the van and how everything works. We took Lola in her "basic" form. But Dean showed me all the extras just to confirm if I didn't need it so if you change your mind when your there just ask and I'm sure he will cater for your needs.
Lola was a pleasure to drive. We sat comfortably at 60mph in the duel carriage ways. (Don't forget the drivers right arm rest might be tucked behind the curtain took me w days to find it). We also took some country roads along the coast and again the van performed very well, with it's air suspension the van was very stable with little to no body roll.
The bed folded out easy and slept me and my partner comfortably. I'm 5'11 and had plenty of leg room. Our golden retriever also decided to join us in there and the three off us slept ok.
The captains chair is also comfy for a nap if you didn't want to get the bed out.
We would definitely be booking again for a summer get away.
