This is a beautiful campervan, converted from a high-top, medium wheelbase VW Crafter.
Chad is the perfect rental for a couple or small family looking to get away! With a full-sized double bed which converts into large table and seating area, as well as 2 adult sized bunks (lift and fix out of way when not in use) there is plenty of socialising and sleeping space.
The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and a full dinner set! There is a double hob, sink, running (cold) water and fridge/ freezer. The large dining table can seat 6 (if you’re meeting more people on the road) as well as folding camping table & chairs for 4 when the weather is nice.
Complete with 240V Mains Hook-Up (with 25m extension lead), 2x Double USB Chargers, 2x 3-pin sockets & automatic smart charging system with a 12v leisure battery and an LED Battery Test Panel.
This van has been lovingly renovated, with spotlights & under cabinet soft lighting (with dimmable separate controls). Fully insulated throughout with insulated internal window blinds, rear & side tinted privacy windows, opening roof window (with integral blind and insect mesh) and plenty of storage space above the drivers cab and underneath the bench seating.

TRAVEL
Chad is stored in South Croydon, a perfect spot to get you onto the M25 quickly (20 minutes) and explore the UK. I’ve taken him to the Lakes, Pembrokeshire, Devon & Dorset as well as smaller day-trips around South East England. It’s an easy van to drive, so if you’ve never driven a van before and/ or are feeling a little nervous, this VW Crafter would be a great choice.
COLLECTION / DROP-OFF
I will try to be as flexible as I can be regarding collection and drop-off times.
DO
• Please treat my van with respect at all times
• Please return the vehicle fully refuelled and clean
NOTE: the cleaning fee covers an external clean and cleaning bed linens and blankets - please return the internal space clean and tidy
DON'T
• Smoke inside the vehicle
• Ever leave the hob unattended
• Drive with the gas tank on
• Drive too fast – although this van is very easy to drive and does reach speeds of 80mph, remember that if the water tank is full (and the petrol tank), and it’s full of belongings, your stopping distance is GREATLY increased. For your own safety, please drive responsibly
• Drive under the influence of any drugs or alcohol
• Ever turn on the hob to try and heat the van. This is how people get carbon monoxide poisoning
• Some pets will be allowed, but please note there will be a surcharge of £50 for extra cleaning
• Festivals are allowed, but by prior agreement
