Off the coast of Kent, you’ll find the Isle of Sheppey, an authentic seaside getaway. It’s filled with award-winning beaches, green Nature Reserves and picturesque hamlets. The Isle of Sheppey is the perfect destination for a motorhome holiday.
Sheppey is known for its rich history as the birthplace of aviation. Take a wander through this history at the Eastchurch Aviation Museum. Renowned artist J.M.W. Turner painted scenes of Sheerness, so see his paintings come to life in the stunning countryside and learn more at the Blue Town Heritage Centre.
Whilst visiting the Isle of Sheppey for a camping trip, we recommend visiting the Rose Street Cottage of Curiosities as well as the Minster Gatehouse Museum - perfect for a rainy day!
But you’ll surely wish to spend your afternoons at one of the many beaches on the Isle of Sheppey, for which we recommend Leysdown on Sea for a nostalgic trip to the seaside.
