Een fijn camping waar klant koning is.
Liked: De camping is kleinschalig en heeft ruime plekken. De natte ruimten zijn netjes en schoon. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen.

Liked: Die ungezwungene Atmosphäre und die tolle, park ähnliche Anlage des Platzes. Die sehr, sehr nette Betreiberfamilie.

Goed verzorgde camping met vriendelijke en betrokkenigenaars
Liked: Een heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Het sanitair is heel schoon. Mooie omgeving met veel wandel- en fietsmogelijkheden.
Could be better: Een fonteintje bij het toilet, zou wel handig zijn. Nu heb je mogelijkheid om handen te wassen in de wasgelegenheid, soms is die bezet.

Sehr gepflegter und moderner Platz
Liked: Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Absoluter Wohlfühlplatz. Erstaunlich modern eingerichtet und sehr gute Betreuung vor Ort. Schöne Sanitäranlagen. Hund war sehr willkommen. Insgesamt war alles sehr unaufgeregt und entspannt. Der Ortsteil ist ebenfalls sehenswert.
Could be better: Die Mücken… aber dafür kann der Campingplatz nichts ;-)

Camping ‘De Wedze’, hidden in the characteristic and scenic landscape of the ‘Fryske Wâlden’ with a stunning view of the church of Twijzel from the 13th century.
Everyone is welcome here, but don’t expect any major kids entertainment. However, there is a great opportunity to explore the local nature on and around the camping, in ways such as picking blackberries or bird spotting. There is a lot to do in this area of Fryslân, we will have some flyers and tourist directories waiting for you. Visit us and experience the ‘Fryske Wâlden’ in a marvellous adventure.
In the area around Twijzel there are many nice trips to do. Think of the National Lauwersmeer area, the Wadden Islands, Nature Park Twijzelermieden and many cycling and walking routes. Upon arrival at the campsite you will receive a nice magazine with activities and events to visit. There are also some walks described.
