Liked: Small quiet site with all necessary amenities and a pool. Friendly owner. Walking distance to a restaurant. Church bells stopped overnight!

Could be better: If only the toilets were better I would give this site an Excellent mark. For ladies there were 2 sit on toilets, one with no seat, and one with 3 out of 4 seat supports missing. I saw nobody using the 3 or 4 squat toilets so why have them? In one toilet in constant use the toilet paper ran out. And if people need the toilet, they cannot just wait until cleaners have finished.

Liked: Very pretty site, lovely helpful staff, great views. Near train station so we took a trip to Milan. Lake Orta is gorgeous.
Could be better: Toilets definitely need updating. Only one ‘normal’ toilet and 3 squatting, often a small queue for ‘normal’ toilet. Showers were clean, disappointing to have to pay 50cents for them though. Swimming pool ok, hats obligatory.

Liked: We love this camp-site because you immediately feel at home once you are there. There are a lot of greens around you. Very nice surroundings for hikers and bikers. Paolo and his staff are very welcoming, always helpful, nice and relaxed. Thank you for this great vacation!

Liked: Lovely views from the camping site. Small camping site and very helpful owner and staff.
Could be better: Maybe better explanation information on the shower deposit scheme and the much appreciated services of the freezer and cooler that I did eventually find on site. The web site mentioned a bus service discount was available but nothing available when I asked for this information on the site. The recycle bin area could be easily improved.

Extended on about 15.000 terraced squared metres, in a peaceful and panoramic area, the camping site takes its name from the legend suggesting it was one of the longobard queen Theodolinda resort.
Peripheral to a typical village of the XVIII century, surrounded by secular chestnut woods, 500 meters above sea level and well wooded, it is an ideal starting point for tourist excursions.
Distributed on 60 campsites, it offers wide green parks to relax, while the predominantly residential address avoids the seasonal crowd. The sites can host either tents, trailers or campers. Available all year for those who love the lake (3 km) and for those who prefer the mountains (Mottarone 15 km), it is a meeting point for young people thanks to their dedicated areas: soccer field, volleyball, playground , equipped meeting room, internet point, library and numerous outsource attractions. The family management also ensures reliability and courtesy.

Article 1 - Sales Terms and Conditions
The present sales terms and conditions rule all the stays sold on the website www.campingroyal.com They are included in the contract binding the establishment and the customers.
The client agrees to acknowledge these terms and conditions prior to any booking request for a stay concerning himself and any other person enjoying the stay.
According to the law in force, the present terms and conditions are available for the client for information only and prior to any contract for holiday purchase. The terms and conditions are available on written request to the establishment office.
Article 2 - Booking conditions
2.1 Price and payment
All prices are given in Euros, including VAT. The client's attention is drawn to the fact that the tourist tax is not included in the price.
Camping pitches booking requests: Pitches booking requests are nominative and nontransferable. The lease is only effective after the establishment agreed and has received the deposit.
Rented accommodations booking requests: Rented accommodations booking requests are nominative and nontransferable. The lease is only effective after the establishment agreed and has received the deposit
Should you have any delay on the day of arrival and don't warn the establishment, the accommodation will be available 24hours after the arrival date mentioned on the lease. After this time limit and without written message, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit will remain acquired for the establishment.
2.2 Changing your booking request
No discount will be granted for late arrivals and/or early departures.
2.3 Cancellation Insurance
We advise you to subscribe cancellation insurance. This contract offers you cancellation insurance enabling you have the paid sum back if you cancel your stay or leave earlier under certain events and circumstances (illness, accident, etc.).

2.4 Refund for cancellation
- IF THE GUEST COMMUNICATES THE CANCELLATION WITHIN 5 DAYS BEFORE THE ARRIVAL DATE, THE DEPOSIT PAID LESS € 15.00 WILL BE REFUNDED.
- IF THE GUEST COMMUNICATES THE CANCELLATION BETWEEN 5 AND 3 DAYS, 50% OF THE DEPOSIT PAID WILL BE WITHDRAWN.
- IF THE GUEST COMMUNICATES THE CANCELLATION BETWEEN THE 2ND AND 0 DAYS, THE ENTIRE AMOUNT PAID AS A PENALTY WILL BE WITHDRAWN
Article 3 - During your stay 3.1 Arrivals and departures
In rented accommodations and camping pitches, arrivals from 15:00 p.m. and departures before 10:00/12:00 a.m.
3.2 Guarantee
A € 100.00 guarantee will be deposit on your arrival. It will be given back on your departure during the reception opening hours and after inventory of fixtures. Any damage will be invoiced and added to the price of the stay
If you cannot attend the inventory of fixtures, your guarantee will be sent back by post.
3.3 Departures
Any delay for giving back the key and leaving the pitch after 10:00/12:00 a.m. will be invoiced one extra night. Should your stay be extended, you must warn the establishment at least 24 hours before the departure date set previously.
3.4 Animals
Animals are only allowed inside the special accommodations.
3.5 Policies and procedures
In accordance with the law in force, the client agrees to subscribe to the Policies and procedures, listed in the Préfecture, available at the reception desk, it will be given on demand.
Article 4 - Liability
The establishment is not liable for any damages on the holiday-maker's equipment. Holiday-makers must have subscribed civil liability insurance for their equipment (FFCC, ANWB, ADAC, etc.).
Article 5 - Applicable Law
These general conditions are subject to Italian law and all disputes concerning their application falls under the jurisdiction of the High Court or Tribunal de Verbania.
