CAMPING REGULATIONS

Arrival and Registration

1.1 Entry Requirements
  Access to the campsite is subject to the approval of Management.
 
1.2 Registration Procedure
  Upon arrival, all guests must complete the Public Security form and present a valid ID document for each group member. Accepted documents: Identity Card / Passport / Tax Code for minors without other ID.
 
1.3 Use of the Wristband
  You will receive an access wristband and a vehicle pass. If the wristband/pass is lost or damaged, you must report it immediately to reception, which will issue a replacement. In case of loss, a fee of € 5.00 per wristband or pass applies.
 
1.4 Mandatory Registration
  You must always wear the wristband and pass; anyone found on the site without proper registration and wristband will face legal action.
 
1.5 Security Deposit
  On arrival, a deposit of € 100 is required for accommodations.

Pitches
 
2.1 Assignment and Rates
  Management reserves the right to assign pitches at its discretion. Rates are per night, regardless of check‑in time, and include hot and cold water, electricity, taxes, and VAT.

2.2 Definition of Pitch
  A “pitch” is the space allotted for a tent, caravan, or camper, plus a veranda and one parking space.
 
2.3 Additional Equipment
  Additional structures (e.g. kitchen tent, gazebo) may only be installed if they do not encroach on neighboring pitches. Tying tarps to trees, fences, or erecting wood or metal constructions is strictly prohibited. Management may remove any such installations that cause obstruction or inconvenience.
 
2.4 Cleanliness and Order
  You must keep your pitch clean and tidy to maintain site decorum. Otherwise, Management may charge extra cleaning fees. Final pitch cleaning: € 15.00 per hour; bulky waste disposal from € 50.00 upward, depending on volume.
 
2.5 Pitch Changes
  Changing pitches without prior authorization from Management is prohibited.
 
2.6 Hours and Dimensions
  Arrivals allowed from 09:00 to 14:21 and from 16:00 to 21:00; departure day is charged if you leave after 12:00.
  Pitch dimensions: depth approx. 10 m; width varies by type: “Canadese” min. 4 m, “Standard Comfort” and “Deluxe” 6 m, “Super” 12 m.

Accommodations
 
3.1 Check‑In and Check‑Out
  Check‑in from 17:00. All accommodations must be vacated by 10:00 on departure day, clean and in order. Failure to do so will forfeit the deposit and incur extra cleaning (€ 50.00), repair, or replacement charges as needed.
 
3.2 Assignment
  Management reserves the right to assign housing units at its discretion.
 
3.3 External Structures
  Erecting tents, gazebos, or similar structures outside the accommodations is prohibited.

3.4 Included Services

  “Standard, Insured, Non‑Refundable” rates include water, electricity, and gas; bed linens; TV; Wi‑Fi; pool access; private beach access with umbrella and two loungers assigned by reception as available.
  “Low Cost” rate includes water, electricity, and gas; TV; Wi‑Fi; pool access.
 
3.5 Excluded Services
  The stay does not include any services not expressly listed under “Included.”
 
3.6 Tour Operator Conditions
  Guests booking through Happycam / Arcaenel / Timetour do not have linens, air conditioning, or beach service included.

Dogs
 
4.1 Access and Fee
  Dog access is at Management's discretion and incurs a fee per the current rate sheet.
 
4.2 Behavior and Access
  Dogs may stay on reserved pitches or in designated bungalows; they must be leashed at all times and muzzled if aggressive. Dogs are not allowed in common areas (e.g. pool area, playground).
 
4.3 Waste Disposal
  Dogs may not relieve themselves on non‑designated pitches or in restricted paths. Owners must use waste bags and may not bring dogs onto pitches outside the designated dog area.
 
4.4 Beach Access
  On the private beach, dogs are allowed only in the designated area for an extra fee, must be leashed under the umbrella, and may not swim.
 
4.5 Tour Operator Restrictions
  Dogs are not permitted in accommodations managed directly by Happycam / Arcaenel.

Sanitary Facilities
 
5.1 Facilities and Care
  The campsite has five sanitary blocks, some equipped for the disabled and with chemical toilets. Facilities must be left as you wish to find them.
 
5.2 Activation
  Sanitary blocks open and close based on guest attendance.

Ecology and Environmental Respect
 
6.1 Recycling
  Paper and waste must be sorted into the provided recycling containers.
 
6.2 Car Washing
  Car washing is only allowed in designated areas from 09:00–11:00 and 16:00–18:00.
 
6.3 Laundry and Dishwashing
  Laundry and dishes must be washed only at the designated sinks.
 
6.4 Prohibitions
  Damaging plants or facilities, digging trenches around tents, pouring hot, salty, or waste liquids on the ground, and lighting open fires are strictly forbidden.
 
6.5 Barbecue Use
  Charcoal grilling is allowed if smoke does not disturb neighbors and the ground remains undamaged.
 
6.6 Sustainability
  Management promotes sustainable practices and minimizes ecological impact. Guests are encouraged to recycle, reduce waste, and protect local flora and fauna.

Vehicles and Site Circulation
 
7.1 Parking
  Parking spaces are assigned by Management and must never block traffic.
 
7.2 Gate Hours
  Entry gate closed 24:30–07:00; vehicle access after 24:00 only with reception authorization.
 
7.3 Speed Limit
  5 km/h maximum on site.
 
7.4 Vehicle Restrictions
  E‑scooters, e‑bikes, hoverboards, and similar vehicles are prohibited. Motorcycles and mopeds up to 50 ccm must be walked. Cycling is forbidden 14:00–16:00 and 20:00–07:00; always prohibited in pedestrian areas and the amphitheater.

First Aid and Medical Assistance
 
8.1 Infection Reporting
  Any infectious disease must be reported immediately to Management.
 
8.2 Medical Assistance
  Medical help is available on request for a fee; reception will contact the on‑call doctor.
 
8.3 First Aid Service
  A first aid service operates in July and August.

Beach and Pools
 
9.1 Beach Access
  The private beach is free for guests wearing the wristband.
 
9.2 Equipment Rental and Restrictions
  Beach equipment is available for rent; personal chairs or umbrellas are not permitted. No towels or gear in front of the first row; the 3–5 m shoreline is a passage area.
 
9.3 Beach Boundaries
  The private beach adjoins about 3 km of free public beach to the north and south.
 
9.4 Pool Access
  Only wristband holders and children with a guardian may enter pools; pets are not allowed.
 
9.5 Sunbeds and Umbrellas
  Free until exhausted; no personal equipment, food, or drinks allowed; diving is prohibited.
 
9.6 Cap Requirement
  Swim caps are mandatory; the water park is for children only.

Cash Desk and Payments
 
10.1 Hours and Procedures
  Cash desk open daily 09:00–12:00 and 17:00–21:00. Prepaid stays must be paid 7 days before arrival; stays under 7 nights paid at check‑out.
 
10.2 Check‑Out
  You must return wristband and vehicle pass at check‑out or forfeit the deposit plus a penalty. Late check‑out only by arrangement, extra fee € 30.
 
10.3 Payment Methods
  Bancomat, Maestro EDC, CartaSi, Visa, Mastercard, Diners.
 
10.4 Delays and Early Departures
  Delays or early departures must be reported immediately; full booking period is charged. Delays over 24 hrs without notice result in cancellation. Inability to pay may lead to baggage retention until settlement.

Cancellations
 
11.1 “Standard” Rate
  Up to 30 days before arrival: 100 % refund minus € 10 booking fee; 29–0 days: 0 % refund.
 
11.2 “Non‑Refundable” and “Low Cost” Rates
  No refunds.
 
11.3 “BeSafe Insured” Rate
  BeSafe Rate allows cancellation for unforeseen events with up to 100 % refund under the insurance policy.

  IMPORTANT: Cancellations must be sent in writing to info@campingpaestum.it.

Privacy Policy
 
12.1 Data Processing
  Under GDPR, personal data collected at registration and during the stay are kept confidential and used only for booking management, stay communications, and guest safety. Data Controller: Amatruda Salvatore. Data will not be shared without explicit consent.

Liability
 
13.1 Personal Belongings
  Guests are responsible for their own valuables. Management is not liable for items not left in custody.
 
13.2 Natural Hazards
  No liability for damage from falling branches, limbs, or cones.
 
13.3 Facility Use
  Use of sports, fitness, and recreational equipment is at guests' own risk.
 
13.4 Force Majeure
  No refunds for temporary unavailability of facilities due to force majeure.
 
13.5 Complaints and Arbitration
  Submit justified complaints to Management; arbitration by ASSOCIAZIONE NAZIONALE CAMPEGGI E VILLAGGI, Confesercenti Nazionale, Via Nazionale 60, Rome.
 
13.6 Compliance
  Entry implies full acceptance of these regulations. Staff are authorized to enforce them.
 
13.7 Conduct
  Disruptive guests will be asked to leave.
 
13.8 Purpose of Regulations
  These rules aim to balance individual freedom with community well‑being for a polite, respectful, and enjoyable stay.
