Liked: Abbiamo soggiornato in questo campeggio per soli tre giorni, ma sono stati davvero di vitale importanza. Totale relax e calma, sembra quasi che il tempo si sia fermato qui. Io e mio marito avevamo davvero bisogno di “rigenerarci”, e così è stato. Proprietario molto gentile e disponibile, soprattutto quando abbiamo avuto bisogno del suo aiuto per un problema alla nostra auto. Consiglio a tutti coloro che hanno davvero bisogno di rilassarsi, lontano dallo stress e dalla vita frenetica di tutti i giorni.

Could be better: La struttura dei servizi igienici é molto datata, sicuramente da migliorare, ma comunque abbastanza pulita!

About this campsite

The Tellina campsite is in the Gargano National Park, in an area called the ‘Gateway to the Gargano’, close to the city of Manfredonia, on the Adriatic coast. It is in a lush green oasis, right next to the sea: perfect for a relaxing holiday. Here you can enjoy the laid-back Italian lifestyle or go out to explore the spectacular national park.

from Bari: Motorway A 14, Gate Cerignola Est, go straight towards Manfredonia, direction "Riviera Sud"

from Napoli: Motorway A 16, Gate Candela, go straight towards Manfredonia, direction "Riviera Sud"

from Pescara: Motorway A 14, Gate Foggia, go straight towards Manfredonia, direction "Riviera Sud"

by train:

Station Foggia, local train towards Manfredonia

About the area

The nearest city to the campsite is Manfredonia, which is known as the ‘Gateway to the Gargano’. Here you can visit the castle of King Manfredi, who gave his name to the city. The local museum is also worth a visit or you can simply wander around the historic city centre. From Manfredonia you can either go up into the mountains or along the marvellous coast road visiting the cities of Mattinata, Vieste and Peschici. You could also go on to Lakes Lesina and Varano.

The Gargano National Park is something else. As you walk along the paths in the middle of the Umbra Forest you will see wild boars or roe deer or pheasants. And you can have lunch at one of the many picnic tables. The Gargano is the perfect place to find fresh air, good food and unforgettable scenery.

Check in before 23 pm, check out before 12 am.

For any booking request, you have to pay 30 % of the total amount as a deposit. For Caravan’s bookings, you also have to specify the number of members. We ask for a telephone number and an e-mail address to contact you if needed.

In case of booking cancelation we give you back the deposit paid only if you inform us at least a week before your estimated arrival. If not, we’ll hold the deposit you paid as a compensation.
