About this campsite

Mid-way between the gorges at Verdon and Ventoux, beside the banks of the Luberon, you will find a magnificent region. A land of gentle hills and contours, sun and lavander, scattered with old villages; a land of happiness, the land of the LAUZONS… in PROVENCE.

About the area

'Domaine des Lauzons' is situated in the heart of Provence, surrounded by old villages, lavander fields and bordered by the 'Lure' Mountain and the Luberon Park. You can discover near by : an Astronomical center, the Canyons, Abbeys, Ochre-mines, Cedar forests, coloured Markets, but also many cultural activities and of course the restaurants, that are famous for there rich and tasty Provincal kitchen, espacially in Forcalquier, classed as 'Site remarquable du Goût'. Farther away you can visit : Avignon, City of the Popes and also well known for its festivals ; Aix en Povence, beautiful city ; the grand lakes ; the Grand Canyon of the Verdon ; the Calanques from Cassis to Marseille or the tops of the Alpes at 3000m.

A Relaxing Week at Les Lauzons

Liked: Lots of space; quiet and peaceful environment; two excellent swimming pools, one suitable for swimming lengths; friendly, helpful reception staff who speak good English. Enjoyable group meal at restaurant. Clean toilets.

Could be better: A grey water disposal point on site would be nice.

Liked: Loved the site, lovely pitch in the field we were in, washrooms spotless. We had fab views and lovely walks, dogs loved the river to cool off. Also loved the bar area.

Liked: We loved the site and location, we thoroughly enjoyed the long naturist walks.Facilities were clean and adequate. A little disappointed that the shop closed 3 days after we arrived.

Could be better: Warm water would have been nice in the hand basins, shaving with cold water is not easy on the face.

Liked: This was our first foray into naturism, but we felt instantly relaxed in the welcoming and non-judgemental surroundings. Lots of activities on offer if you wanted to take part, but no pressure to do so either.

Could be better: What can you do about the horseflies really? They’re to be expected when so rural, and we took the measures we could, but would advise others to bring sprays etc.

Liked: Nice, helpful and friendly staff. Lots of activities that bring people together. Good pool area.

Could be better: It would be good for hygiene to have soap by the sinks. I believe many people don’t wash their hands properly because they don’t carry soap around. Toilets could be better maintained.

Liked: Fabulous welcome, staff really helpfull. Natural site with a good pitch, fabulous showers in sanitary block close by. Restaurant very nice too, well presented dishes plus pizzas. Bar with good selection. Pool area just perfect, with plenty of loungers and just the right temperature. A most relaxing stay.

Could be better: A large motorhome without an additional transport, so a supply of fresh meats, salads and vegetables from the little shop on site would have been a real advantage.

Liked: We have stayed at Les Lauzons two years in a row. We are so happy with our experience that we are planning to return every summer! The owner, Cyril, is committed to creating a special place for naturist families to feel comfortable and relaxed. We always receive a warm welcome at the reception. We enjoy the pools, waterslides, and clean facilities. The wifi is very good throughout the resort. The guests are friendly and we find many families here. My son enjoys playing with the children at Les Lauzons. The bar, restaurant, bread delivery, and snack shop provide very good service and options.

Liked: Friendly tolerant vibe, excellent activities coordinator (Christolphe). No-pressure-to-buy bar area Simple clean cabin, large clean pools, good balance of organised activities.

Could be better: Some of the pathways are quite rough for older people.

Liked: Camping calme, le chalet est adapté et équipé, piscine propre et assez d'espace pour se reposer à l'ombre ou au soleil. Possibilité de se restaurer tous les jours. Avons apprécié les repas en communs organisés. Aux alentours il y a beaucoup à découvrir pour ceux qui aiment se balader et visiter .

Booking conditions

General conditions for a reservation

Article 1: One should carefully read the undermentioned general conditions. They define the selling of a stay at Domaine naturiste des Lauzons and become legal the moment an order is made. By making a reservation you automatically subscribe to our general conditions.
- - The reservation of a pitch or rental accomodation is strictly personal. You can never sublet or pass on your reservation without preceding consent of Domaine des Lauzons
- - Minors hould be accompanied by their parents or guardians.
Article 2:
2.1 Reservation
A reservation becomes effective only after we've received the down payment followed by our confirmation either by email or by mail. The dossier fee is 20 euro. The down payment consists of 30 % of the cost of the stay plus the dossier fee. The client admits to having read the conditions and prices as specified on our internet site www.camping-lauzons.com
2.2 Payment
The payment of a rental accomodation has to be settled at the latest 30 days before the arrival as stated in your reservation. For the payment of a pitch, the settlement of the sum you find your reservetionform should be the day of your arrival. Any extra cost youy make, restaurant, bar, grocery etc. should be settled the evening before your departure.
If you leave before the due date, you'll pay the bare reservation cost.
If you arrive later then or leave sooner then agreed upon, you have no right to ask for compensation. The days you reserved are the days you'll have to pay.
All prices are subject to 10% value added tax inclusive and tourist tax exclusive.
2.3 Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation of your stay by Domaine des Lauzons, except in cases of force majeure, the stay will be fully refunded. However, this cancellation will not give rise to the payment of any damages or compensation.If you cancel your stay without having subscribed to cancellation insurance, no amount will be refunded.The cancellation will be deemed effective if the payment for the stay does not reach us within the time limits specified in Article 2.2, or if you do not show up on the scheduled day of your reservation.

2.4 Revocation
The legislation concerning the right of revocation for selling at distance, as provisioned by the Consumption Act (Code de la consommation), are not applicable on tourism transactions (art. L.121-20-4). Clients therefore have no right of revocation for a reservation at Les Lauzons

Article 3 : The stay
3.1 arrival/departure
No arrival is possible in the morning and after 18h00 during off season, and 19h00 in July and August.
Day of arrival: pitches are accessible from 14h00 on, rentals from 16.30 on.
Day of departure: rentals should be vacated before 10h00 and pitches before 12h00.
You can arrive any day of the week.
During high season there are the following exceptions: rentals Ophéa, and Lodges will have saturday as arrival and departure day???
3.2 Length of stay
For pitches the length of stay is as you please. For rentals there's a minimum stay of 2 nights during low season, and 7 nights in July and August.
3.3 deposit
For rentals a deposit of 250€ is asked, in cash or creditcard 'advance'
3.4 Departure
A rental has to be vacated at 10 am the day of departure as stated in your contract. Any departure after 10 am will be billed as an extra night.
Without a cleaning contract you should leave the rental in a perfectly clean state, with a cleaning contract you leave it reasonably clean. If you leave a rental dirty, without cleaning contract, you'll be charged for at least 50€. You'll be charged for breakages and if necessary for reparations to be made in the rental. You will receive the deposit, eventual expenses deducted (and sustained by invoices), after inspection the day of departure. If expenses surpass the deposit, you'll be asked to pay the supplement.
a pitch has to be emptied before 12h00. If not, you'll be charged for another night.
3.5 Animals
Dogs are accepted at Les Lauzons except cat 1 and 2. There are special pitches where dogs are allowed on prairie 3, and in rentals Duo, quattro, and Club . They are not allowed anywhere else
3.6 Due to high risk of fire hazard, it is strictly forbidden to connect and charge electric cars on the pitches and at rental cottages.
Charging points are available in the car park opposite the shop.

Article 4 : Civil responsibility and cancellation insurance
4.1 Cancellation insurance.
A reservation is without cancellation insurance. We recommend you to take one of your choise. We do propose an insurance: sales conditions are to be asked for at www.assurance-annulation.eu. This insurance will cost you 5% of the cost of your stay. If you need to use this insurance, you'll have to send us your cancellation plus the necessary evidence to open a dossier. Do this by registered post. When, during your stay, for example you have to interrupt your stay because you fall ill or there's a death in the family you will be restituted the sum you've allready paid for the days you can't be there.
4.2 Civil responsibility the Domaine des Lauzons declines any responsibility for theft, fire, heavy weather, etc. and for damages caused by the camper himself. Here, your own personal third party liability insurance will help you out.
