BOOKING CONDITIONS

Bookings are personal; subletting or transferring the pitch to a third party is prohibited. A booking becomes effective only upon the campsite's approval, following receipt of the deposit and either the duly completed and signed booking contract or acceptance of the general terms and conditions during online booking. Camping L'Olivier offers family-oriented stays where a friendly atmosphere and mutual respect are essential; the campsite reserves the right to refuse any booking that conflicts with this principle or attempts to circumvent it. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, Camping L'Olivier informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency is not subject to the provisions regarding the 14-day right of withdrawal.

Camping pitches: Basic packages include the pitch for a tent or motorhome for 1 or 2 people, as well as access to sanitary facilities and on-site amenities. Additional charges (extra persons, pets, additional vehicles, etc.) are not included in the basic package and will be added to the total cost. Camping pitches can accommodate a maximum of 6 people.

Rental units: Fully equipped with furniture, kitchenware, pillows, and duvets. Basic packages accommodate between 2 and 6 people, depending on the type of rental unit. For safety and insurance reasons, the maximum occupancy limit must not be exceeded. Please note that a baby counts as a person in their own right. Camping L'Olivier reserves the right to refuse entry to groups or families arriving with more participants than the rented accommodation's capacity allows. Please remember to bring your own sheets, fitted sheets, and pillowcases. If needed, Camping L'Olivier sells comfortable disposable bedding kits. Mattress and pillow protectors are provided. Covering mattresses with a fitted sheet is mandatory.

You will receive a confirmation email or letter regarding your booking once the deposit has been paid.

PAYMENT TERMS

For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 40% of the total cost of the booked services—plus a €20 booking fee (€40 for VACAF bookings) and any optional cancellation insurance—must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay at the campsite.

For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the full amount must be paid on the day of booking. Similarly, for any stay of less than 7 days, the total amount is required at the time of booking.
Accepted payment methods: Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, Chèques Vacances (holiday vouchers), and bank transfers. If full payment is not received 30 days prior to arrival, Camping L'Olivier reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled. Payments already made will not be refunded.

For rental units, a security deposit of €400 (€800 for the gîte) is required upon arrival—payable by bank card only—to cover potential damage to the accommodation; this includes a €30 deposit for the barrier access badge. The deposit will be returned within 10 days following the final inspection, provided everything is in order and complies with the rules. Under no circumstances will the key to the rental unit be issued without the security deposit being paid.

For camping pitches, a €30 deposit is required for the barrier access badge.

If renting equipment, an additional deposit will be required.

No refunds or price reductions will be granted for late arrivals or early departures.

RATES AND TOURIST TAX

The prices shown are valid for the current season. Prices are in euros, include VAT, and correspond to the selected accommodation, the number of occupants, and the duration of the stay. Any subsequent change in the applicable VAT rate between the time rates were set and the time of invoicing will result in a corresponding adjustment to the price (including tax), which the client accepts without reservation. Local taxes and any applicable surcharges are not included.

A tourist tax must be paid upon arrival for all guests over the age of 18.

An Eco-tax must be paid upon arrival for all guests.

CANCELLATION AND CHANGES

Changing your booking: The client may request a change of the stay (campsite, dates, and/or accommodation type) upon written request to the campsite (by mail or email), subject to availability and feasibility. Telephone messages are not accepted. No deferrals to the following season will be permitted. Please note that if the stay is modified, you will not be eligible for promotions introduced after your initial booking; the date of the original booking applies. If no modification is made, you must complete your stay under the original booking conditions or cancel it in accordance with the cancellation insurance terms. Any request to extend the duration of your stay will be subject to availability and current rates. Any request to shorten the duration of your stay is considered a partial cancellation and is subject to the terms regarding cancellation and interruption of stay. If you do not notify us of a change to your arrival date, the accommodation may be made available for sale again 24 hours after the arrival date specified in the contract, and you will consequently lose your booking.

Unused services: No refunds will be issued for any stay that is interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) by you, regardless of the reason given.

Cancellation by Camping L'Olivier: In the event of cancellation by Camping L'Olivier—except in cases of *force majeure*—the amount paid will be fully refunded. However, such cancellation shall not give rise to any claim for damages.

Cancellation by the camper: Cancellation and stay interruption insurance is available; it is optional and payable in addition to the rental cost at the same time as the deposit. Any booking cancellation must be made in writing (via registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt) to Camping L'Olivier. If cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the start date of the stay, the entire deposit will be retained as compensation. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the start of the stay, 100% of the total cost is due, and no refund will be issued. Insurance premiums and administrative fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be granted unless cancellation insurance has been purchased.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE

Cancellation insurance can only be purchased at the time of the initial booking request. The client agrees to review the insurance terms and conditions provided during the initial booking. Cancellation insurance covers only serious accidents, serious illnesses, or the death of persons named in the contract, subject to the presentation of official documentation from a professional. The cost of the cancellation coverage is a flat rate of €100.00, regardless of the total booking amount.

THE STAY

ARRIVAL
CAMPING PITCHES: Arrival between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Electrical connections must be made using cables and plugs that comply with current regulations. Please ensure you bring a cable of sufficient length and a European adapter. The campsite cannot provide the aforementioned equipment.

RENTAL ACCOMMODATION: Arrival between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Security deposits will be required upon handover of the keys. The designated parking space for the rental unit is designed for a single vehicle; any additional vehicles must be parked outside the campsite. Late arrivals must be reported before 6:00 PM so that the campsite can make the necessary arrangements; a surcharge of €50.00 applies for arrivals between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and €100.00 for arrivals between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. No arrivals are permitted after 9:00 PM. The tenant will take possession of the accommodation at 8:00 AM the following day.

If you wish to arrive in the morning, you must book the preceding night. Any delay in arrival must be reported to ensure the reservation is held. The management reserves the right to reassign the allocated pitch or accommodation if no notification is received within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival date. Payments already made will not be refunded. Any change in the number of guests that might result in a lower fee (e.g., tourist tax, additional persons exceeding the rental unit's capacity) must be reported upon arrival. In the event of an inaccurate declaration by the client, this contract will be automatically terminated, and any sums paid will be retained by the management. The campsite reserves the right to refuse entry to parties exceeding the booked package size or the accommodation's capacity, or if the names of the guests do not match the booking details upon arrival.

DURING YOUR STAY:
Camping L'Olivier accepts no liability for incidents arising from regarding the camper's civil liability. The campsite also disclaims all liability in the event of theft, fire, or accidents caused by adverse weather conditions. The number of vacationers may not be increased during the stay; only persons listed on the booking are permitted to stay at the campsite. All guests must comply with the campsite rules. At Camping L'Olivier, the speed limit is 5 km/h, and all vehicle movement is prohibited when the automatic barrier is closed (between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM). Parking in the roadways or near the reception area is prohibited; a car park is located at the campsite entrance. We advise against leaving valuables in plain sight or within easy reach. Guests must respect the peace and quiet of others; the primary renter is responsible for any disturbances or nuisances caused by those staying with them. Children must not go to the playgrounds or the pool unaccompanied; they remain the sole responsibility of their parents. Swimwear is mandatory in the pool; swim trunks (boxer-style) are permitted. Swimming shorts, Bermuda shorts, and T-shirts are not allowed in the water. Users must remain properly and decently dressed; no clothing other than swimwear is permitted. Please refer to the pool rules. Personal barbecues are prohibited, with the exception of gas or electric models (10A power supply available at rental pitches). Campers are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings (bicycles, etc.). All guests must comply with the campsite rules.

DAY VISITORS

Access to the campsite is strictly reserved for persons listed on the booking contract. For reasons of safety, insurance, and the peace of mind of holidaymakers, outside visitors (friends, family, guests) are not permitted to enter the campsite premises.

PETS

Pets are accepted—except in certain accommodation units—subject to a fee payable at the time of booking. A maximum of 2 pets per pitch or rental unit is allowed. Upon arrival, you will be asked to provide your pet's up-to-date vaccination record. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. They are prohibited in the pool area and inside buildings. Pets should relieve themselves outside the campsite whenever possible; owners are required to clean up after their pets both inside and outside the campsite.

Pets must never be left to roam freely.
They must not be left unattended at the campsite—even if confined inside rental units, tents, or vehicles—in the absence of their owners, who bear civil liability for them. (Failure to comply may result in management deciding to have disruptive or endangered animals removed by the SPA animal welfare services.)

DEPARTURE

CAMPING PITCHES: Departure by 12:00 PM (noon) at the latest. Any pitch not vacated by 12:00 PM will automatically incur a charge for an additional night.
RENTAL ACCOMMODATION: On the departure date specified in your contract, the rental unit must be vacated by 10:00 AM, following an appointment made at reception the previous day. The accommodation must be left in a perfectly clean condition; the inventory may be checked, and you will be held liable for the cost of any broken or damaged items, as well as any necessary repairs or restoration. Your security deposit will be returned 10 days after your stay, minus any deductions for damages noted during the final inspection (supported by invoices). Withholding the security deposit does not preclude a claim for additional compensation should costs exceed the deposit amount. If the accommodation has not been fully cleaned prior to your departure (floors, toilet, bathroom, fridge, microwave, kitchenette, etc., or if you have smoked or vaped indoors), a cleaning fee of €75 or €150 will be charged. For any departure outside reception opening hours, or after the scheduled key handover time, a mandatory early departure fee of €150 will be charged. In the event of a late departure, you may be charged for an additional day at the current nightly rate. The security deposit will be returned only after the rental unit has been inspected and the inventory checked; if you cannot be present during the inspection, the deposit will be destroyed.

EXTRACT FROM THE CAMP SITE RULES

Campers are required to comply with the camp site rules and the swimming pool regulations. The designated parking space for the rental unit or camping pitch is intended for a single vehicle; any additional vehicles must be parked outside the camp site. Access to the camp site is reserved exclusively for guests; access to the swimming pool is strictly regulated, reserved exclusively for campsite guests. Eating, drinking, smoking, and vaping are prohibited on the pool deck and inside the buildings. Large inflatable pool floats or toys are not permitted. Wood-burning barbecues are strictly forbidden within the campsite; gas or electric barbecues are permitted. Smoking or vaping inside rental units is strictly prohibited.

Access to the campsite is strictly reserved for individuals listed on the booking contract. For reasons of safety, insurance, and the peace and quiet of holidaymakers, outside visitors (friends, family, guests) are not permitted to enter the campsite premises.
The speed limit within the campsite is 5 km/h. Barriers are closed between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM; all vehicle movement is prohibited during this time.
Quiet hours must be observed by all campers between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Should a guest disturb the stay of other users, fail to comply with the internal regulations, or provide false information regarding the occupants of their pitch, the manager may—verbally or in writing, as deemed necessary—formally require the guest to cease the disruptive behavior. In the event of a serious or repeated violation of the internal regulations, and following a formal notice from the manager to comply, the manager may terminate the contract. In the event of a criminal offense, the manager may call upon law enforcement authorities.
Guests and occupants of the same rental unit agree to abide by the campsite's internal regulations. Failure to observe rules of neighborly conduct—including acts of incivility, fighting, drunkenness, or any other behavior detrimental to campsite life—will result in immediate contract termination without compensation or refund. Only persons listed on the contract are permitted in the rental units and entitled to use the campsite facilities. Any misuse will result in the termination of the rental contract without a refund of amounts paid.
Rental units may only accommodate the maximum number of people specified in the rental or booking contract.
Please comply with waste sorting guidelines; recycling bins are available in the car park and at the campsite entrance.
Children remain the responsibility of their parents at the swimming pool, the playground, and throughout the campsite premises.
Camping L'Olivier accepts no liability for theft, fire, or accidents caused by adverse weather conditions.

LIABILITY OF THE CONTRACTING CLIENT

The contracting client for the accommodation or pitch (the name listed on the booking form) agrees to use—and ensure that their accompanying guests use—the park's equipment and facilities in accordance with their intended purpose and normal usage. In particular, they agree to leave their accommodation or pitch in good condition upon departure at the end of their stay. Any damage to the premises, or loss or destruction of furnishings within the rental units or communal campsite buildings, renders the person responsible for such damage automatically liable. The contracting client for the accommodation or pitch is held personally liable for any damage, loss, deterioration, disturbance, or nuisance caused by persons staying with them or visiting them. The contracting client for the accommodation or pitch acknowledges having read the campsite rules and regulations and agrees to comply with them, as well as ensuring compliance by their accompanying guests or visitors. If a client disturbs or causes a nuisance to other guests, or damages communal facilities, the campsite reserves the right to terminate their stay immediately without compensation, and without prejudice to any claims for damages that the campsite or third parties may pursue against them. The same applies in the event of improper occupancy of the accommodation (i.e., the number of occupants exceeding the rental unit's authorized capacity). The client certifies that they hold a civil liability insurance policy covering damage caused to rented or entrusted property. (Proof of insurance may be requested.)

CAMPING SITE LIABILITY

Under no circumstances does the campsite assume responsibility for the safekeeping of personal belongings or items within the campsite premises.

The campsite’s liability—beyond its statutory obligations—shall not be invoked in the event of:

Theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings of any kind, during or following a stay.
Breakdown or failure of technical equipment, or the breakdown or permanent/temporary closure of certain campsite facilities due to circumstances beyond its control or cases of *force majeure*.
Specific measures taken by the campsite management, restrictions on access to certain facilities, including changing rooms and the swimming pool, when necessitated by safety standards or periodic maintenance work.
Damage caused to or sustained by customer vehicles parked or driven within the campsite premises, even if express permission to enter was granted.
Changes to the entertainment schedule or planned activities.
During the low season, and depending on occupancy levels, the campsite reserves the right to modify or cancel certain planned facilities, amenities, services, or entertainment activities. For all low-season bookings, we recommend contacting the campsite to confirm these details.

IMAGE RIGHTS

During your stay, you may be photographed and appear in our publications and on any type of media without time limit. If you do not wish to be photographed, you must notify us by registered letter prior to your arrival.

PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with the Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, the customer is informed that the personal data collected during the booking process—specifically the information marked as mandatory—is required to fulfill the booking. The customer has the right to access, rectify, and object to the transfer of this data to third parties; these rights may be exercised by writing to: CAMPING L'OLIVIER – 3 Route de la Plaine – 30140 MASSILLARGUES-ATTUECH.

COMPLAINTS

Any complaints regarding the conduct of your stay must be raised on-site with the management team so that an immediate solution can be found. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may refer the matter to the mediation center. In accordance with Consumer Code provisions regarding the "consumer dispute mediation process," the customer has the right to use the mediation service offered by the campsite free of charge.
