Nestled in the south of the Cévennes at the foot of the Aigoual massif, 1 hour from the Mediterranean Sea at an altitude of 210m, Le Val de L'Arre is ideally placed to offer you a varied holiday, to entertain you and to relax with services quality.
Located in Le Vigan, 80km from Nîmes, 60km from Montpellier and Millau, the campsite extends over 4 hectares of generously wooded land on the banks of the L'Arre river and offers 170 pitches including 37 rentals and 133 spacious camping pitches.
Along 350m of the river and its green banks you can practice swimming, fishing and sunbathing.
The campsite offers Nature, Comfort and Premium pitches, equipped with a Freecamp. You don't have any camping equipment; we offer you our comfortable mobile homes or our 2 unusual accommodations, the Coco Sweet if you want to experience a camping adventure as a couple or family.

Peaceful site well located
Liked: Large flat shady pitch with some grass. Clean facilities, the town is quite close. Not too busy early July. Interesting, unspoilt area to explore.

Geweldig genoten
Liked: Heerlijke camping, mooi gelegen, vriendelijke behulpzame uitbaters. De rivier lijkt op eerste gezicht niet erg uitnodigend maar je moet even het juiste plekje en de juiste mindset vinden en dan is het prima vertoeven. Beetje offseason verblijf en de "feestavonden" niet meegemaakt helaas.
Could be better: Het zwembad is verwarmd, onbekend of dat de oorzaak is van 30 graden water bij 35 graden buitentemp. maar lekker verfrissend is anders. Lijkt een overbodige (en niet groene) luxe....Sommige locals gebruiken de aangrenzende weg als normale verkeersader, een paar typisch franse drempels zou een stuk schelen. Heerlijke lunch/diner kaart bij de "snack". Pas in juli de hele middag open. Kleinigheidje: De mayo voor de vele nederlanders zou in een fles lekkere franse mayo geserveerd kunnen worden ipv de irritante scheurzakjes waar meer plastic afval overblijft dan dat er flauwe Heinz mayo uitkomt

Liked: Tout a été parfait, de l'accueil à la réception, a l'emplacement, la piscine, le resto, tout le monde a été super sympa. Le camping est très bien ombragé, nous n'avons pas eu chaud dans la tante malgré les chaleurs de saison. Il est aussi très bien situé, au bord de l'eau et proche du Vigan.

Liked: Le cadre toujours aussi agréable, l'accueil et le professionnalisme des responsables et leur équipe, la propreté du camping et une mention particulière pour la restauration . Nous nous sommes régalés petits et grands....
