5. CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

Any cancellation request must be sent to the Campsite in writing, by e-mail or by post.

5.1 Deposit

The deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable in the event of cancellation at the initiative of the Customer, unless the Campsite has taken an exceptional and express decision.

The Campsite may, on a commercial and discretionary basis, accept in certain situations a total or partial refund, a credit note or a postponement of the stay.
Such an exceptional decision does not constitute an acquired right for the Client and cannot be invoked as a precedent for a subsequent request.
5.2 Cancellation of the stay

In the event of cancellation of the stay by the Customer, the sums already paid remain with the Campsite in accordance with these conditions, unless otherwise provided for in the cancellation insurance contract taken out by the Customer.

Where the balance of the stay is already due or has been paid, the applicable cancellation conditions are those indicated at the time of booking.

The Customer is therefore invited to carefully check the conditions applicable to their reservation before proceeding with the payment.

5.3 Cancellation insurance

The Campsite strongly recommends that the Customer take out cancellation insurance offered at the time of booking, in particular with its partner Meetch, when this option is available.

This insurance is optional and constitutes a separate contract between the Client and the insurer.

The Campsite is not the insurer and cannot be held responsible for the acceptance or refusal of a claim for compensation.

The conditions, exclusions, reasons covered and terms of reimbursement are exclusively those provided for in the insurance contract taken out.

The Client is invited to read all the terms and conditions of the insurance contract before taking out.

6. MODIFICATION OF THE RESERVATION

Any request to modify a booking must be sent to the Campsite as soon as possible.
Any modification is subject to the agreement of the Campsite and availability at the time of the request. A modification may concern, in particular:

The dates of the stay;
The type of accommodation;
The number of people;
The addition of an animal;
The addition of a vehicle;
Or any additional service.

A change resulting in an increase in the amount of the stay may give rise to additional invoicing.

A change resulting in a reduction in the amount of the stay does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

7. ARRIVAL

Accommodation and pitches are available from 16:00 on the day of arrival.

The Customer must respect the arrival times communicated by the Campsite.

In the event of arrival after 19:00, the Customer must imperatively notify the Campsite in order to find out the terms of access that will be communicated to him.

Any late arrival must be organised with the Campsite in order to allow the Customer to be welcomed in good conditions.

Fees may be applied in the event of late arrival according to the rate in force, in particular €7 per hour of delay, when this arrival takes place outside the scheduled reception hours and requires specific care.

The campsite reserves the right not to be able to provide an immediate reception outside its opening hours.

8. DEPARTURE AND EARLY DEPARTURE

Accommodation and pitches must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest, unless previously agreed by the Campsite.
Any departure after the scheduled time may result in a charge of €7 per hour started, according to the conditions posted and subject to the availability of the Campsite. Early departure
In the event of an early departure decided by the Customer, for whatever reason, the nights not used do not give the right to a refund.
This provision applies in particular in the event of:
Of change of program;
Personal problem;
Weather conditions that do not make it impossible to access the campsite;
Of personal convenience;
Or the Customer's decision to leave the Campsite before the scheduled date.

The Client may, however, request his cancellation insurance when his contract covers the situation concerned.

9. NO-SHOW

In the event of a Customer's failure to show up at the Campsite within 24 hours of the scheduled date of arrival, without information or proof being sent to the Campsite, the booking may be considered abandoned.

The campsite will then be able to freely dispose of the pitch or accommodation booked.

The sums already paid will remain with the Campsite in accordance with the cancellation conditions set out in these T&Cs.

10. DEPOSIT – RENTAL ACCOMMODATION

A deposit of €300 per accommodation is mandatory.
It is requested according to the terms and conditions communicated to the Client at the time of booking or before arrival. The deposit does not constitute an advance payment of any damage.
It may be used, in whole or in part, in particular in the event of:
Degradation of accommodation;
Damage or disappearance of equipment;
Breakage;
Missing furniture or equipment;
Damage to the Campsite's facilities attributable to the Customer or their companions;
Exceptional cleaning made necessary by the condition of the accommodation at the start;
The presence of tobacco or smoke odours requiring special intervention;
Or any other remaining amount due for the stay.

When the amount of the damage exceeds the amount of the deposit, the Client remains liable for the difference.

Any deduction from the deposit may be justified to the Client.

The deposit is returned according to the terms and conditions communicated by the campsite after departure and, when necessary, after verification of the accommodation.

11. CLEANING OF ACCOMMODATIONS

The Customer is responsible for cleaning their accommodation before departure, unless they have subscribed to a cleaning service offered by the Campsite. The accommodation must be returned in a satisfactory state of cleanliness comparable to that in which it was handed over to the Client.
Before departure, the Client must, in particular:
Empty and clean the refrigerator;
Clean the worktop;
Clean the appliances;
Clean the microwave;
Clean the hood and coffee maker;
Washing, wiping and storing dishes;
Clean the mirror and taps;
Clean the shower walls and door;

Clean under beds and furniture when necessary;
Empty the garbage cans;
Restore furniture and equipment to their original state;
Close the windows;
Turn off the heating and/or air conditioning;
Report any breakage, deterioration or anomaly immediately observed.

The windows may be left ajar temporarily in order to ventilate the accommodation, except in adverse weather conditions, but must be closed before departure.

In the event of insufficient cleaning, the Campsite may charge a cleaning fee corresponding to the type of accommodation concerned, according to the rates in force.

These fees may be deducted from the deposit.

Details of the cleaning packages will be communicated in the Campsite's rates and/or in the documents given to the Customer.

12. ANIMALS

Dogs and cats are allowed at the Campsite subject to compliance with these conditions and the internal regulations. Only one animal is allowed per pitch or per accommodation, unless previously agreed in writing by the Campsite. Dogs of the 1st and 2nd categories are strictly forbidden within the Campsite.
Animals must:
Be identified in accordance with the regulations;
Be vaccinated and their vaccinations must be up to date;
Be able to be presented with their health documents at the request of the Campsite;
Be kept on a leash within the campsite;
Not to create nuisance for other Customers;

The owner of the animal is responsible for any damage or nuisance caused by it.

The Client must report the presence of the animal at the time of booking.

If the Customer arrives at the Campsite with an unauthorised animal, in particular an animal exceeding the authorised number or belonging to a prohibited category, the Campsite may refuse access to the animal and, when its presence makes it impossible to carry out the booking under the agreed conditions, refuse access to the stay, without refund of the sums already paid, subject to the applicable legal provisions.

13. VISITORS

Guests' visitors can be welcomed at the campsite subject to compliance with the rules of safety, capacity and tranquility of the establishment.
All visitors must present themselves at the reception before entering the Campsite and respect the registration procedures set up by the Campsite. The Campsite may request:
The identity of the visitor;
The necessary contact details;
Check-in and check-out times;
Any information necessary for the safety and management of the Campsite.

The Customer who receives a visitor is responsible for the visitor's compliance with the internal rules and rules applicable to the Campsite.

The Campsite reserves the right to limit or refuse access to visitors, in particular in the event of maximum capacity reached, inappropriate behaviour, disturbance of the peace of other Customers or for safety reasons.

When a visitor is a foreign national falling within the scope of the regulations applicable to campsite operators, the formalities relating to the individual police form are carried out in accordance with the regulations in force.

14. VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC

In order to preserve the peace of mind of Customers, the circulation of vehicles in the Campsite is prohibited between 10:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m., except in exceptional situations or emergencies.

During this period, vehicles must remain parked in the spaces provided for this purpose.
The Customer undertakes to comply with the indications and instructions given by the Campsite concerning traffic and parking.
In the event of repeated non-compliance or behaviour endangering people or facilities, the Campsite may take any appropriate measure and in particular ask the Customer to leave the premises under the conditions set out in these T&Cs and the internal regulations.

15. ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING

It is strictly forbidden to charge an electric or hybrid vehicle from the electrical sockets of the pitches, accommodation or facilities of the Campsite, unless there is an infrastructure specifically provided for this purpose by the Campsite.

This ban applies in particular to cars, motorhomes, motorcycles and other electric or hybrid vehicles.

Any charging carried out outside an authorised installation may result in the invoicing of €300 for costs and consumption related to the unauthorised use of the electrical installations.

Depending on the seriousness of the breach, its repetition or the Customer's behaviour, the Campsite may also end the stay under the conditions set out in these T&Cs.

16. NOISE AND TRANQUILITY

The campsite is a quiet campsite, whose operation is based on the respect and tranquillity of all Customers.

Noise is tolerated during the day as long as it remains reasonable and does not disturb other people in the campsite.

Customers must ensure that the volume of conversations, music devices, televisions and other equipment is limited.

From 10:00 p.m., silence must be observed throughout the campsite.

Noisy parties, excessive festive behaviour, shouting, loud music or any behaviour likely to disturb the rest of other Customers are prohibited.

In the event of a nuisance, the Campsite may immediately ask the Customer to reduce or stop the noise.

In the event of non-compliance with this rule, in particular in the event of a repeat offence or significant nuisance, the Campsite may terminate the Customer's stay under the conditions set out in these T&Cs, without reimbursement of the services not used when the termination is attributable to the Customer's wrongful behaviour.

17. BARBECUES AND FIREWORKS

Wood and charcoal barbecues are forbidden throughout the campsite.

Electric barbecues can be rented from the reception, subject to availability.

It is also forbidden to light any fire or combustion device that is not allowed in the Campsite.

These rules may be strengthened or modified temporarily depending on weather conditions, fire risks or decisions of the competent authorities.

18. BEACH, RIVER AND SWIMMING

The campsite has access to a beach and/or an area located on the banks of the river.

The use of the beach, river and bathing areas is the responsibility of the users, in compliance with the safety rules, any prohibitions and instructions posted by the Campsite or imposed by the competent authorities.

Children must remain under the constant supervision of their parents or guardians.

The campsite particularly draws the attention of customers to the risks inherent in a natural environment: current, variable depth, rocks, slides, rising waters, bad weather and other risks related to the river.

Swimming may be prohibited or temporarily suspended when safety conditions are not met.

The Campsite cannot be held responsible for accidents resulting from carelessness, failure to comply with safety instructions or improper use of the premises, without prejudice to the responsibilities that may legally fall to it.

Personal belongings left on the beach or in common areas remain the responsibility of their owners.

19. PLAYGROUND AND EQUIPMENT

The use of the playground and the equipment made available to Customers must be done in accordance with their destination and the instructions posted. Children using the games and equipment remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or guardians.
Caregivers must ensure that the equipment used is appropriate for the age and abilities of the child.
It is forbidden to divert the equipment from its normal use or to engage in dangerous behavior.
The Campsite declines all responsibility for accidents resulting from improper use of the equipment, carelessness or lack of supervision, without prejudice to the responsibilities that may be legally incumbent on it.

The Campsite may temporarily close a playground or equipment for reasons of safety, maintenance, weather conditions or any other circumstance beyond its control.

20. PRIVATIZATION OF THE CAMPSITE AND ORGANIZATION OF PRIVATE EVENTS

Camping des Bords de Cèze may, subject to availability and prior agreement of the management, offer the total or partial privatization of the establishment for the organization of private events, including weddings, birthdays, family reunions, family reunions, private parties, seminars or any other similar event.

All privatization is subject to prior validation and a specific estimate or contract, specifying in particular the date, duration, the spaces concerned, the maximum number of participants, the services included, any additional services, the authorized times, the conditions of food and drink, as well as the financial terms.

20.1. Number of participants

The number of people authorised for the event is set in advance by the Campsite and indicated in the quote or privatisation contract.

The number of participants may not exceed the authorised capacity of the areas concerned or the limits set by the applicable regulations.

The organiser undertakes to communicate to the Campsite, before the event, as accurate an estimate as possible of the number of participants.

The Campsite may refuse access to any additional person when the maximum authorised capacity is reached.

20.2. Use of spaces

Privatization concerns exclusively the spaces expressly mentioned in the estimate or contract.

The other facilities and areas of the campsite remain, unless otherwise agreed in writing, subject to the usual conditions of use and may remain accessible to other guests of the establishment.

When the privatization is total, the specific conditions of access to the various facilities and areas of the campsite are specified in the privatization contract.

The organizer undertakes to comply with the instructions communicated by the management concerning the use of the facilities, the river, the beach, the playgrounds, the sanitary facilities, the accommodation and any equipment made available.

20.3. Hours and noise pollution

The times of the event are defined in advance with the Campsite.
The privatization or organization of an event does not constitute a general authorization to derogate from the rules relating to the noise and tranquility of the site.

As the campsite is an establishment that also welcomes tourists and is located in a residential and natural environment, the organiser undertakes to ensure respect for the neighbourhood and other occupants.

The times for the broadcasting of amplified music, sound and, where applicable, dance are set by the Campsite according to the nature of the event, the spaces used and the applicable regulatory or administrative constraints.

The Campsite reserves the right to immediately request the reduction of the noise level or the cessation of any activity that generates excessive nuisance.

In the event of a serious or persistent nuisance, non-compliance with the instructions or behaviour likely to affect the tranquillity, safety or property of people, the Campsite may put an end to the event, without prejudice to the invoicing of the services provided for in the contract and any damage caused.

20.4. Music, DJ and entertainment

The organiser must inform the Campsite in advance of the possible presence of a DJ, a musical group, an entertainer or any other service provider using a sound system.

Any steps and authorisations that may be necessary for the broadcasting of music, the organisation of the event or the intervention of service providers are carried out by the party to whom they are responsible according to the applicable regulations.

Where necessary, rights related to the public broadcasting of music must be declared to the competent bodies.

The Campsite may ask the organiser to provide any necessary proof or information before the event.

20.5. Alcoholic beverages

When alcoholic beverages are served or sold at an event, their management must comply with applicable regulations.
The organiser may not introduce, sell or distribute alcoholic beverages within the framework of the event without the prior agreement of the Campsite when this is necessary. When the Campsite itself provides and serves drinks, the corresponding conditions are specified in the estimate or privatization contract.
Any excessive consumption or dangerous behaviour related to alcohol may result in the intervention of the management and, if necessary, the termination of the event.
20.6. External service providers

The intervention of external service providers such as caterers, DJs, musical groups, photographers, videographers, decorators, equipment rental companies, entertainers or other professionals must be reported and accepted by the Campsite in advance.

The organiser remains responsible for the behaviour of its service providers and their compliance with the Campsite's rules. Service providers must respect the installation and dismantling schedules communicated to them.

Any installation requiring a special power supply, a connection, a structure, bulky equipment or a temporary modification of the premises must be the subject of a prior agreement.

20.7. Decoration and Facilities

The decorations, facilities and equipment brought by the organiser must be accepted in advance by the Campsite.

In particular, it is forbidden, without prior agreement, to attach elements to the trees, facades, accommodation, installations, furniture or equipment of the Campsite, as well as to use products likely to deteriorate the surfaces.

Confetti, glitter, smoke bombs, fireworks, flying lanterns, candles or any device presenting a risk of fire or damage are prohibited without the express prior authorization of the management and subject to applicable regulations.

No fire, barbecue, brazier or similar device may be installed in the context of an event without the prior agreement of the Campsite.

20.8. Cleaning and Restoration

At the end of the event, the spaces made available must be returned in a condition consistent with that in which they were returned.

The organizer is responsible for the collection of decorations, installations, waste and equipment brought by itself or by its service providers.

When cleaning is included in the privatization service, it covers only the services expressly provided for in the estimate.

Any additional repair made necessary by abnormal use of the premises, significant waste, damage or non-compliance with the instructions may be invoiced to the organiser.

20.9. Damage and security

A specific deposit may be requested in the context of a privatization, in addition to any deposits provided for accommodation.

This deposit may be used in particular to cover damage, loss, deterioration, missing equipment, exceptional cleaning costs, waste, breakage or any other cost directly attributable to the event, the organiser, the participants or the service providers acting on its behalf.

When the amount of the damages or costs incurred exceeds the amount of the deposit, the organizer remains liable for the difference.

20.10. Responsibility of the organizer

The organizer is responsible for compliance with these conditions by all invited participants as well as by the service providers involved in the event.
In particular, it is responsible for ensuring the behaviour of the participants, compliance with the facilities, safety rules and the tranquillity of the premises.

The Campsite retains its obligation of safety and its legal responsibilities. This clause shall not have the object or effect of excluding or limiting any liability that cannot be legally excluded.

20.11. Accommodation in the context of privatization

When the event includes the rental of accommodation, each accommodation remains subject to the general terms and conditions of sale applicable to the Campsite's rentals, in particular in terms of maximum capacity, deposit, cleaning, animals, damage and arrival and departure times.

The organiser may not assign or sublet accommodation to a person not provided for in the booking conditions without the prior agreement of the Campsite.

20.12. Cancellation or modification of the event

The conditions of cancellation, modification and refund applicable to a privatization are those indicated in the specific quote or contract accepted by the parties.

In view of the special nature of privatization services, specific financial conditions may be provided, in particular with regard to advance payments, payment deadlines, services already incurred and non-recoverable costs.

Any significant change in the number of participants, schedules, spaces used or services requested must be reported to the Campsite and may result in a change in the quote.

20.13. Cancellation or interruption by the Campsite

In the event of a necessity related to the safety of people, an administrative decision, exceptional circumstances, a natural risk, dangerous weather conditions or any other situation that makes the event impossible or dangerous, the Campsite may modify, postpone or interrupt the event under the conditions provided for by the applicable regulations and, where applicable, by the privatization contract.

The financial consequences will be determined in accordance with the contract concluded between the parties and the applicable legal provisions.
20.14. Specific Agreement

Any privatization constitutes a special service that may require additional conditions to these T&Cs.

In the event of a contradiction between these T&Cs and the specific conditions contained in the quote or privatization contract, the specific conditions expressly accepted for the event shall prevail only for the points concerned.

The final validation of the privatization only takes place after acceptance of the quote or contract, payment of the deposit provided for and validation of the date by the Campsite.

When the execution of the stay becomes impossible due to a force majeure event or an administrative decision, the financial consequences will be assessed in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and booking conditions.
