GENERAL BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR A PITCH OR RENTAL ACCOMMODATION
Scope of Application of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all bookings made with Camping La Cascade, in particular through the website https://reservation.secureholiday.net/fr/1031/. They form an integral part of any contract entered into between Camping La Cascade and its customers.
The customer acknowledges having read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale before making any booking and accepts them on behalf of themselves and all persons participating in the stay. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are made available to the customer before any booking is confirmed. They may also be provided upon simple written request addressed to Camping La Cascade.
All customers and all persons participating in the stay are required to comply with the campsite’s internal rules.
A booking becomes final only after acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, receipt of the payment due at the time of booking, and confirmation by email from Camping La Cascade. Camping La Cascade reserves the right to accept or refuse any booking request, particularly depending on availability or any circumstances preventing the proper performance of the stay. Receipt of payment alone does not constitute final confirmation of the booking.
For individual customers, a separate booking must be made for each pitch or rental accommodation.
For group bookings, customers are invited to contact Camping La Cascade directly in order to arrange a specific contract adapted to groups.
All bookings are nominative and strictly personal. They may not be assigned, transferred or sublet to a third party without the prior written consent of Camping La Cascade.
Camping La Cascade cannot guarantee the allocation of a specific pitch number. Requests made at the time of booking will nevertheless be taken into account subject to availability, particularly where a paid option allowing the customer to choose a pitch has been selected.
Only one vehicle is permitted per pitch or rental accommodation. An additional vehicle may be accepted subject to payment of the corresponding option and to the campsite’s conditions.
Camping pitches are available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated no later than 12:00 noon on the day of departure.
For groups, the organiser undertakes to comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements concerning the supervision of the persons accommodated, particularly minors.

Reception opening hours: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
ELECTRICITY
Electrical connections comply with European standards. All pitches may be connected to electricity (10 amps).
Electricity may only be supplied to suitably equipped caravans and motorhomes that comply with the applicable standards. Connecting a vehicle directly to these electrical outlets is prohibited.
PETS
Pets are accepted in rental accommodation provided that they are vaccinated against rabies, have an up-to-date vaccination record and are kept on a lead.
Owners are required to clean up after their pets within the campsite and must take them outside the campsite for their natural needs.
Pets must never be left unattended.
Only one pet is permitted per rental accommodation or pitch.
Category 1 and Category 2 dogs are not permitted on the campsite.
SWIMMING POOL
The wearing of proper swimwear is COMPULSORY.
Shorts and Bermuda shorts are strictly prohibited.
CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO RENTAL ACCOMMODATION
For rental accommodation, check-in is available from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
On the day of departure, rental accommodation must be left perfectly clean and vacated before 10:00 a.m.
Rental accommodation is equipped for the maximum number of persons stated in the accommodation description.
Guests must bring their own bed sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels. These items may also be booked as an optional extra when making the reservation.
The number of occupants must not exceed the maximum capacity specified for the accommodation booked.
All visitors, as well as any pets, must report to the campsite reception. Visitors are not permitted to use the campsite swimming pool.
Rental accommodation is provided clean and must be left clean upon departure. Otherwise, a cleaning fee of €80 will be charged or deducted from the security deposit.
PAYMENT OF THE OUTSTANDING BALANCE
For pitches and rental accommodation, the total cost of the stay must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date.
For bookings made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the services booked must be paid within 7 days of the booking date. The outstanding balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the arrival date stated in the contract. A reminder email will be sent 10 days before this deadline.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal for distance contracts provided for by the French Consumer Code do not apply to tourist services (Article L.121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code).
MEDIATION
In the event of a dispute, the approved mediation centre is:
CM2C: +33 (0)1 89 47 00 14
Accordingly, for any booking of a stay at the campsite, the customer does not benefit from any right of withdrawal.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
Any late arrival that has not been notified by post or email within 24 hours will result in the pitch and/or rental accommodation being made available again. The customer will lose the benefit of the booking and all amounts paid will be retained by the campsite.
If, at the customer’s request, the booking is changed to a pitch with a lower price than the one originally booked, no refund or price adjustment will be made. The cost of the stay will remain the amount corresponding to the original booking.
An early departure or late arrival will not entitle the customer to any refund, regardless of the reason.
Any cancellation of a booking must be made in writing to the campsite.
If the cancellation occurs:
More than 30 days before the arrival date stated in the contract: the deposit paid will be retained by the campsite.
Less than 30 days before the arrival date stated in the contract: 100% of the total cost of the stay will be retained by the campsite.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Cancellation costs may be covered by the cancellation insurance offered by CampezCouvert, at a cost of 4% of the total cost of the stay, including optional extras but excluding booking fees and tourist tax.
Please refer to the Cancellation Insurance General Terms and Conditions for further information.
UPON ARRIVAL
For rental accommodation, a security deposit of €300 will be required. It will be refunded after the accommodation has been checked for cleanliness, damage and proper use.
For departures taking place outside the scheduled reception hours, the security deposit will be refunded within 15 days following departure, provided that the inspection of the accommodation is satisfactory.
Each person will be issued with an identification wristband at reception upon arrival. The wristband must remain clearly visible on the wrist throughout the stay. This identification system enables the campsite to prevent unauthorised persons from entering the premises and potentially causing disturbances or inconvenience to guests.
The tenant must check the condition of the accommodation and the inventory of equipment provided upon arrival.
In the event of any damage, breakage, deterioration or loss, the tenant agrees to reimburse the cost of repairs or replacement.
The campsite management has sole discretion regarding the acceptance or refusal of a request and is not required to provide an explanation.
In the event of a dispute, the Court of Rodez shall have sole jurisdiction.
