Camping Le Chêne du Lac

Liked: Relaxing campsite, great shower facilities. Good bar. Excellent lake and activities.

Could be better: More inflatables on the lake 🙂

Liked: Helpful, accommodating owners. Clean toilets and showers with plenty of hot water. Good size pitches. A perfect location next to a lake with good swimming/water activities. A nice little food area serving food and drink.

Liked: Campsite was nice next to the lake. Pitches were okay and the farm was cute.

Could be better: Water temperature wasn't good, toilet seats would be welcomed and a basin to wash your hands close by.

Liked: The best place we could have stayed in a heatwave. The lake was big enough that we could use our paddle boards, the inflatables were safe and all the children (and a few adults!) were having such fun on them, and I was amazed to see that paddle boards, kayaks and buoyancy aids were all available for free. Bar prices and food were all very reasonable, there was a washing machine to use, again for free, and entertainment for children during the day and in the bar some evenings. The friendly camp team cleared up the site quickly after a big storm too. Showers were warm and very luxurious.

Could be better: None, they’ve really worked hard to make sure everyone has a wonderful holiday.
