General Terms and Conditions of Sale – Flower Campings
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) is to define the rights and obligations of the parties regarding the rental of camping pitches and/or rental accommodation within our campsite.
By booking a pitch and/or accommodation within our campsite, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these GTCS.
1/ Services – Rates
We offer bare camping pitches and rental accommodation for hire.
➢ Bare pitch
This refers to a bare pitch for your tent, caravan, or motorhome.
The price of your stay is calculated on the basis of a package which necessarily includes pitch rental, the entitlement for 2 people to stay, space to set up 1 tent with 1 vehicle, OR 1 caravan with an additional vehicle, OR 1 motorhome; access to reception facilities, entertainment, and sanitary facilities and, depending on the package selected, an electrical hook-up or other options.
You must select one of the following packages:
Nature Package: Package including a pitch of approximately 80 m² with optional electricity
Confort Package: Package including a pitch of over 100 m² with optional electricity
Privilège Package: Package including a pitch + electricity, water, and drainage
Freecamp Package: Package including a pitch equipped with private sanitary facilities including a shower, toilet, and kitchenette
Additional charges (extra person, additional vehicle, pets, etc.) are not included in the above packages and will be added to them.
➢ Rental accommodation
Our rates include accommodation rental based on the number of occupants (in accordance with the accommodation capacity), water, gas, and electricity charges (excluding battery recharging for electric or hybrid vehicles), parking for one vehicle, and access to reception facilities, entertainment, and sanitary facilities.
A security deposit of €240, payable by credit/debit card, cheque, or cash, will be required upon arrival. This will be returned to you at the end of your stay and at the latest within eight days by post following your departure. We reserve the right to retain all or part of the deposit in the event of damage to the accommodation and/or its contents and/or equipment on the campsite.
We also reserve the right to deduct the sum of €70 (1- and 2-bedroom rentals) or €80 (3-bedroom rentals) for cleaning fees if this has not been carried out prior to departure.
➢ Common provisions
Stated prices are in Euros including all taxes (TTC) and do not include tourist tax.
Regardless of the formula chosen (bare pitch or rental accommodation), additional fees will apply for extra persons, extra vehicles, extra tents, pets, visitors, etc.
Our prices are also subject to change depending on economic and commercial conditions. The contractual price payable by you is the price indicated on your booking confirmation.
Flower Campings applies dynamic pricing. Consequently, prices may increase or decrease.
Partner benefits and promotional offers cannot be applied to bookings that have already been confirmed, whether paid in full or in part; these are under no circumstances retroactive.
Thus, it is possible that different customers may pay different rates for the same stay. Customers who paid a higher rate will under no circumstances be entitled to a refund of the difference between the price paid and the promotional rate.
➢ Electric vehicles
The electrical installations of our rental accommodations are not suitable for charging electric vehicles. It is strictly forbidden to plug an electric or hybrid vehicle into the electrical outlets of rental units. In the event of a breach of this provision, the customer will be held liable for any material or non-material damage (short circuit, fire, etc.) caused by such connection, towards the campsite and/or third parties.
2/ Booking conditions
➢ Booking procedures
You may place a booking on our website www.camping-dordogne-marquise.com, on www.flowercampings.com, or by telephone.
Any booking request must be accompanied by:
payment of a 25% deposit on the total cost of the stay (including tax), including the price of booked services and, if applicable, tourist tax,
payment, if chosen, of the cancellation insurance premium.
The booking becomes contractually binding only upon receipt of a written booking confirmation sent by email, detailing all information regarding your stay.
The remaining balance of the stay, including the price of booked services (taxes included) and, if applicable, tourist tax, must be settled at the latest 30 days prior to the start of the stay. If the balance is not paid within this period, the booking will be deemed cancelled and our cancellation terms set out below will apply.
Any booking made less than 30 days before the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking, unless more favorable terms are granted.
➢ Absence of right of withdrawal
Pursuant to Article L. 221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation, transport, catering, and leisure services that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
➢ Maximum capacity
For safety and insurance reasons, the number of occupants must not exceed the capacity determined for the booked accommodation or pitch type (1 to 6 people maximum, depending on capacity), including newborns. If it is observed upon arrival that the maximum capacity is exceeded, we reserve the right to refuse access to the accommodation or pitch, without any refund of the booking amount.
➢ Guests – Minors
For safety reasons, minors unaccompanied by their parents or grandparents throughout their stay are not permitted on our campsite, unless prior written authorization has been issued by us via email upon prior request.
3/ Payment terms
➢ Accepted payment methods
You may pay for your booking or stay in Euros via the following payment methods:
French bank cheque, postal cheque, French holiday vouchers (ANCV chèques-vacances or chèque-vacances Connect), postal money order or cash, credit/debit card, bank transfer (deposit only).
For international guests, payments may also be made via iDEAL, Bancontact, Sofort, and Giropay.
However, by way of derogation, bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival must be paid by credit/debit card or Chèque-Vacances Connect.
➢ Passing trade / walk-in guests
For stays on a pitch without prior booking (walk-ins), at least the first night must be paid upon arrival. You are also required to inform reception of the intended or extended duration of your stay. The remaining balance must be settled no later than the day before departure, subject to reception opening hours.
In case of advance payment and early departure, no refund will be issued.
4/ Stay
➢ Key collection
Rental accommodation: Arrival from 4:00 PM and departure before 10:00 AM
Bare pitch: Arrival from 2:00 PM and departure before 12:00 PM (noon)
Requests for a specific pitch or accommodation can only be accommodated subject to availability upon arrival.
Any dissatisfaction regarding cleanliness and/or general condition of the rental unit must be notified in writing within 24 hours of arrival to allow corrective action.
No complaints will be accepted after 24 hours from the day of arrival.
Your accommodation must be returned in its original condition upon departure, including thorough cleaning by you. Otherwise, the campsite reserves the right to deduct cleaning fees from your security deposit pursuant to Article 1 of these GTCS.
➢ Delayed arrival and early departure
In the event of a delayed arrival or early departure compared to the dates stated on your booking confirmation, the entire cost of the stay remains due. No refund will be granted for any unused portion of the stay.
➢ Pets
Dogs and cats—excluding Category 1 ("attack dogs") and Category 2 ("guard and defence dogs") as defined by French Law no. 99-5 of January 6, 1999—are permitted on our campsite. Dogs must be kept on a leash within the campsite grounds. Hygiene and the campsite environment must be respected. The health record (carnet de santé) of each animal, including vaccination records (specifically rabies), must be presented upon arrival. Proof of identification (tattoo or microchip) and a copy of third-party liability insurance must also be provided.
Exotic pets (NACs) are strictly forbidden within the campsite.
➢ Internal regulations
Throughout your stay, you must comply with the internal regulations of the campsite displayed at reception. A copy can be sent by email upon request.
➢ Image rights
During your stay, we may take photographs and/or film videos within the campsite for entertainment and/or promotional purposes across any media, in which you and your accompanying party may appear. By finalizing your booking, you are presumed to grant us authorization to use photographs and/or videos in which you appear for these purposes for a duration of 10 years. You also guarantee this consent on behalf of any accompanying persons. Any specific refusal must be notified to us in writing on a durable medium.
➢ Unavailability of certain facilities
The facilities and services we offer (swimming pool, restaurant, activities, entertainment, etc.) may not be available year-round, notably due to weather conditions or force majeure, or may operate seasonally. They may therefore be temporarily unavailable during part or all of your stay. The campsite will make every reasonable effort to inform you of any ongoing works or maintenance during your stay.
➢ Contract termination due to customer fault
The booking contract will be terminated automatically as of right in the event of:
Repeated failure to comply with internal campsite regulations by you and/or your party, following a formal warning sent by email. In this case, you must vacate the accommodation or pitch within 24 hours of termination notice sent by email. No refund will be granted.
Failure to arrive at the campsite within 24 hours of the scheduled start of your stay without justification and/or notice.
We will reassign the accommodation after this 24-hour period if we are unable to reach you using the contact details provided during booking. All amounts paid will be retained; no refund will be provided.
5/ Booking modifications
You may request modifications to the dates and/or accommodation type of your stay provided your request reaches us by email at least 21 days prior to the initial arrival date.
A new stay must be booked within the same season as initially scheduled, subject to availability and current rates. The original booking can only be modified once. If you cannot honor the substituted stay, it will be considered cancelled, and sums paid will not be refunded.
If the price of the substituted stay is higher, the difference must be settled no later than 30 days prior to the new arrival date. Otherwise, the replacement stay will be deemed cancelled and cancellation conditions will apply. If the price of the substituted stay is lower, we will retain the difference as compensation for prejudice resulting from the booking alteration.
6/ Cancellation of stay
➢ Cancellation by the customer
All cancellations must be notified in writing on a durable medium (by email or registered post with acknowledgement of receipt, etc.).
If notified more than 30 days prior to arrival: the deposit paid, processing/booking fees, and cancellation insurance premiums (if applicable) remain acquired by the campsite.
If notified between the 30th and the 15th day prior to arrival: the deposit, processing fees, and cancellation insurance premiums (if applicable) remain acquired by the campsite; the balance paid will be issued as a credit note valid for a future stay at the campsite, to be booked during the same season or the following season. For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival and cancelled 15 days or more before arrival, amounts corresponding to the deposit, processing fees, and cancellation insurance will be retained, and the remainder issued as a credit note valid for the current or subsequent season.
If notified less than 15 days prior to arrival: all amounts paid to the campsite are retained in full.
To obtain potential compensation, we advise taking out cancellation or interruption insurance at the time of booking.
By way of derogation:
If your cancellation is due to residing in an area subject to a lockdown restricting movement to prevent the spread of Covid-19 on the start date of your stay: the deposit, processing fees, and cancellation insurance premiums remain acquired by the campsite; the remainder will be issued as a credit note valid for the current or following season, even if notice is received less than 15 days prior to arrival.
If cancellation is due to an event of force majeure (an unforeseeable, irresistible, and external event beyond your control), all sums paid will be fully refunded.
➢ Cancellation by the campsite
If we are forced to cancel a confirmed booking, you will be notified as soon as possible by email; all sums paid will be refunded in full within 15 days of notification.
7/ Complaints – Disputes
Any complaint relating to a stay must be submitted in writing and sent to us by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 20 days following the end of the stay.
In the event of an unresolved dispute within one month of receiving the registered complaint, you may access a consumer mediation service free of charge, provided the mediator is contacted within one year of sending the complaint letter.

8/ Personal data
During booking or throughout your stay, personal data may be collected and processed by us.
When booking via our website or www.flowercampings.com, data handling is governed by the privacy policy and GTCS accepted prior to booking confirmation.
Personal data collected during phone bookings or on site includes:
First name and surname of the person booking,
Phone number,
Email address,
Date of birth of the primary guest and accompanying guests.
Data is collected and processed on the following legal bases:
Your consent,
Performance of the booking contract concluded between us.
Access to this data is strictly limited to our campsite and the company Flower (simplified joint-stock company with a capital of €92,500, registered with the Toulouse RCS under no. 492 355 508, registered office: Les Espaces de Balma 4-5, 16 avenue Charles de Gaulle, 31130 Balma, France).
Collected data is processed for:
Performance of the booking contract;
Handling complaints;
Customer file management;
Commercial prospecting by us and/or Flower;
Accounting management.
Data is retained for the period necessary to execute the contract and for 5 years following the end of the stay, unless an unresolved dispute requires retention until final resolution.
Pursuant to the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés no. 78-17) and GDPR, individuals have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and data portability, as well as the right to define post-mortem directives.
