Accommodation and Pitch Rental Conditions 2027
Bookings are compulsory for July and August (and recommended for June and September).
The person signing the booking contract must be at least 18 years old and shall be responsible for the equipment and facilities made available to them.
A booking becomes final upon receipt of the deposit and the booking contract, duly signed by the customer and accepted by the campsite.
Only a fully and accurately completed booking contract shall be considered valid, as it provides all the information required to assess the rental request.
Minors not accompanied by their parents will not be admitted.
The campsite management reserves the right to limit the number of groups admitted.
The final decision regarding acceptance of a booking rests solely with the campsite. Confirmation is subject, in particular, to acceptance of and compliance with the booking conditions and the internal regulations of Le Nauzan Plage. Bookings can be made online via our website: www.campinglenauzanplage.com. Confirmation of your stay will be sent to you by email or post.
Upon arrival, all guests must present an identity card or passport at reception.
Pitching a tent next to rental accommodation is prohibited.
On camping pitches without rental accommodation, the use of a second vehicle for sleeping purposes is prohibited.
The number of people specified in the booking contract may only be changed with the prior written approval of the campsite management.
If, for any reason, the stay is cut short, the full cost of the booked stay remains payable to the campsite.
Guests arriving before the scheduled date and time may be unable to access their allocated accommodation or pitch unless prior arrangements have been made with the campsite management. To facilitate departures, arrivals are not permitted in the morning.
Bookings will be held for 24 hours after the scheduled arrival date. After this period, unless the campsite has been notified otherwise, the booking will be cancelled and any amounts paid will be retained by the campsite.
Pitches and rental accommodation are booked in the name of the customer and may under no circumstances be sublet.
The final allocation of pitches is determined by the campsite.
Minimum stay requirements vary according to the period:
Off-season accommodation rentals: minimum 2 nights.
Peak-season accommodation rentals: minimum 7 nights, from Saturday to Saturday.
Camping pitches: minimum 3 nights.
Tourist tax: €0.66 per person per night for guests aged 18 and over, plus an environmental contribution of €0.45 per person per night for guests aged 3 and over. These amounts are subject to change.
Payment Terms
Accommodation Rentals
Payment for the stay shall be made under the following conditions:
At the time of booking, a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the stay is required, together with the booking fee and the optional cancellation protection fee.
For bookings made after 1 June, a deposit of 70% of the total cost of the stay is required.
The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival, before access to the accommodation, for the entire booked period.
A €350 security deposit is required upon arrival for all rental accommodation. This must be provided either by cheque or by authorising a charge to a credit card (Visa, Eurocard or Mastercard).
Guests are responsible for cleaning the accommodation at the end of their stay. The security deposit will be returned upon departure, following an inventory check, an inspection of the accommodation and a cleanliness check. Any damage will be deducted from the deposit. A minimum charge of €105 will be retained if the accommodation has not been properly cleaned.
If guests depart outside the scheduled departure hours, the security deposit will be forfeited.
Guests who fail to provide the required security deposit will not be allowed access to their accommodation.
Arrival and departure times
July and August: Arrivals are on Saturdays between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Departures and check-out inspections take place on Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Outside July and August: Arrivals are permitted on the scheduled arrival day between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Departures take place on the scheduled departure day between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Guests expecting to arrive late must notify the campsite by telephone.
Any issue or defect not identified during the check-in inspection must be reported to reception within 24 hours of arrival.
Any broken or damaged item must be reported and replaced or reimbursed before departure.
Minors not accompanied by their parents will not be accepted in our rental accommodation.
One small dog weighing less than 10 kg is permitted per rental accommodation, subject to an additional charge. The dog must have a valid pet passport or health record and up-to-date vaccinations.
Dogs belonging to Category 1 or Category 2, as defined under French regulations, are prohibited anywhere within the campsite.
Dogs must not be left alone in the accommodation in the absence of their owner, who remains legally responsible for them.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in termination of the booking contract.
All other animals are prohibited, particularly cats.
Pitching a tent on the plot allocated to rental accommodation is strictly prohibited.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rental accommodation.
Camping Pitches
Payment for a camping pitch shall be made under the following conditions:
At the time of booking, a payment of €120 is required, comprising a €100 deposit and a €20 booking fee, plus the optional cancellation protection fee.
The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival.
No refunds will be granted under any circumstances in the event of late arrival or early departure.
Optional Cancellation Protection
Cancellation protection is optional and costs:
Rental accommodation: €21 per week, or €4 per night for short stays.
Camping pitches: €1.50 per night.
No refund will be possible if you do not take out cancellation protection.
The cancellation protection fee must be paid at the same time as the booking deposit.
Cancellation protection covers refunds in the event of cancellation for one of the following reasons:
Serious accident, serious illness or death affecting the insured person, their spouse or partner, their parents or other direct ascendants or descendants, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law or sisters-in-law. The seriousness of the accident or illness must be certified by a medical authority.
Significant damage to property caused by an accident, fire, explosion or natural event affecting the insured person's movable property, business premises or main residence, requiring their urgent and essential presence to take the necessary protective measures.
Redundancy for economic reasons affecting the insured person or their spouse or partner covered by the same contract, provided that the date of the event was not known when the cancellation protection was purchased.
Amendment or cancellation of previously approved paid leave by the employer. This protection applies to salaried employees who have been employed by the company for more than one year at the time the contract is taken out. It excludes self-employed professionals, company directors and legal representatives, as well as intermittent entertainment workers. A 20% excess applies to the compensation payable by the insurer.
Unforeseeable pregnancy complications, miscarriage, childbirth, medically indicated termination of pregnancy and related complications occurring before the seventh month of pregnancy.
During the journey required to reach the rental accommodation:A road traffic accident involving the insured person.
Theft of the insured person's vehicle.
Within the 30 days preceding the start of the rental period:
A road traffic accident or attempted theft resulting in the immobilisation of the insured person's vehicle, where the garage is unable to complete repairs before the scheduled departure date.
Theft of the insured person's entire vehicle.
The following amounts will be deducted from any refund: the cancellation protection fee, booking fees and the cost of any part of the stay already used. Any week that has already started will be considered as used in full.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing and accompanied by supporting documentation.
Cancellation Without Cancellation Protection
No refund will be possible if you have not taken out cancellation protection.
Changes to a Confirmed Booking
Changes to the dates of stay, the location of the accommodation or the number of participants are accepted, subject to availability.
For any change requested through the booking department more than 30 days before the start of the stay, if the revised booking costs less than the original booking, an additional flat fee of €35 will be charged.
If a change is requested less than 30 days before the start of the stay, it will be treated as a cancellation followed by a new booking. The cancellation charges specified in the section entitled “Cancellation of a Stay” will therefore apply.

The date of the change will be the date shown on the letter, as evidenced by the postal stamp.
Liability
Children remain under the responsibility of their parents.
Camping Le Nauzan Plage shall under no circumstances be held liable for promises or commitments made by its employees or third parties where these clearly differ from the general terms and conditions set out in this brochure or from the conditions stated in brochures issued by the relevant third parties, unless such promises or commitments have been confirmed by us in writing.
The campsite management shall under no circumstances be held responsible for the loss of personal belongings, injuries or damage suffered by guests or their property during their stay.
CAMPSITE RULES AND REGULATIONS 2027
Admission and Stay Conditions
Admission to, installation on and stays at the campsite are subject to the authorisation of the campsite manager or their representative. The manager or their representative is responsible for maintaining the campsite in good order and ensuring compliance with these rules and regulations.
By staying at the campsite, guests accept these rules and regulations and undertake to comply with them. No one may establish their permanent residence at the campsite.
The camper’s or rental guest’s family must be covered by private third-party liability insurance.
Management accepts no liability for accidents resulting from the improper use of gas, electrical or other appliances, or from falling branches.
Campsite guests expressly authorise the campsite, free of charge, to use photographs of themselves and their children, taken during their stay for advertising and promotional purposes, on any media. Anyone who does not agree to this must notify management in writing.
Police Registration Formalities
Minors who are not accompanied by their parents will not be admitted.
In accordance with Article R. 611-35 of the French Code on the Entry and Residence of Foreign Nationals and the Right of Asylum, the campsite manager is required to have guests of foreign nationality complete and sign an individual police registration form upon arrival. This form must include, in particular:
Surname and first names
Date and place of birth
Nationality
Usual place of residence
Wearing the campsite wristband is compulsory.
Pitch and Accommodation Setup
Tents, caravans, motorhomes and all associated camping equipment must be installed on the pitch allocated to the guest, in accordance with the instructions given by the campsite manager or their representative.
Two vehicles may not be used for overnight accommodation on the same pitch.
An adapter suitable for European electrical sockets must be provided for electrical connections.
Reception Desk
The reception desk is open during the following hours:
April/May: 9:00 am–12:00 pm and 2:00 pm–6:00 pm
June/September: 9:00 am–12:00 pm and 2:00 pm–7:00 pm
July/August: 9:00 am–1:00 pm and 2:00 pm–7:30 pm
Opening hours may be adjusted.
The reception desk provides information about campsite services, local shops and supplies, sports facilities, tourist attractions in the surrounding area and other useful addresses.
A system for receiving and handling complaints is available to guests.
Display of Information
These rules and regulations are displayed at the campsite entrance and at the reception desk. A copy will be provided to any guest who requests one.
For officially classified campsites, the classification category, together with the designation “Tourism” or “Leisure”, and the number of pitches allocated to each category are displayed.
Prices for the various services are made available to guests in accordance with the conditions laid down by the French Minister responsible for consumer affairs. These prices can be consulted at reception.
Arrival and Departure Procedures
Upon arrival, guests must pay the outstanding balance for their stay. The applicable rates are displayed at the campsite entrance and at the reception desk. Charges are calculated according to the number of nights spent at the campsite.
Rental Accommodation
During the low season, arrivals for rental accommodation are between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. In July and August, arrivals are permitted until 7:30 pm.
If you expect to arrive late on your scheduled arrival date, please contact the campsite. If we receive no notification, your booking will be considered cancelled after 24 hours.
For the check-out inspection, guests have two options:
Option 1: Before 10:00 am on the day of departure, once cleaning has been completed, guests may notify reception, during its opening hours, so that a check-out inspection can be carried out jointly with a member of staff. If no damage or deterioration is found, the security deposit will be returned at reception.
Option 2: Guests may return the keys to reception. A member of the cleaning staff will then inspect the accommodation after departure. If no damage is found and the accommodation has been left in the same clean condition as on arrival, the security deposit will be released following the inspection.
Payment of the security deposit is required before access to the rental accommodation is granted.
Camping Pitches
During the low season, arrivals for camping pitches are between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. In July and August, arrivals are permitted until 7:30 pm.
If a late arrival has not been notified before reception closes, management reserves the right to reallocate the pitch after 24 hours.
Departures must take place before 12:00 noon.
Guests are asked to inform reception of their departure on the day before they leave.
Guests intending to leave before reception opens must settle their account on the previous day.
On arrival, all guests must present an identity card or passport.
Noise and Quiet Hours
Guests are asked to avoid any noise or conversations that may disturb their neighbours. Audio equipment must be kept at a reasonable volume.
Car doors and boot lids must be closed as quietly as possible.
Complete silence must be observed between 10:30 pm and 7:00 am.
Pets
Category 1 and Category 2 dogs, classified as dangerous under French law, as well as NACs (new pets, including non-traditional companion animals), are strictly prohibited anywhere within the campsite.
Other dogs and cats are permitted, provided that a vaccination record is presented and all applicable veterinary regulations are complied with.
Dogs must never be allowed to roam freely and must always be kept on a lead. They must not be left unattended anywhere on the campsite, even if confined, in the absence of their owners, who remain legally liable for them.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in termination of the contract.
In rental accommodation, only one dog weighing less than 10 kg is permitted, provided that it has a pet passport, a health record and up-to-date vaccinations. An additional fee will apply.
All other animals, including cats, are prohibited in rental accommodation.
Pets must relieve themselves outside the campsite, and owners are required to clean up their animals’ waste immediately.
Visitors
All visitors must report to reception.
Once authorised by the campsite manager or their representative, visitors may enter the campsite under the responsibility of the guests they are visiting.
Visiting hours are from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Campsite facilities and services are not available to visitors.
Visitors’ cars are not permitted inside the campsite.
Electric Vehicles
For safety reasons, charging electric vehicles anywhere within the Le Nauzan Plage campsite is strictly prohibited, as the campsite’s electrical network does not meet the requirements for this purpose.
Vehicle Traffic and Parking
The speed limit throughout the campsite is 10 km/h.
Vehicle traffic is permitted between 7:00 am and 10:30 pm. The entrance gate is closed between 10:30 pm and 7:00 am.
Only vehicles belonging to guests staying at the campsite may circulate within the grounds.
Parking is strictly prohibited on pitches normally occupied by accommodation units, unless a designated parking space has been provided.
Vehicles must not obstruct traffic or prevent newly arriving guests from setting up their accommodation.
Cleanliness and Appearance of the Facilities
Everyone must refrain from any action that could compromise the cleanliness, hygiene or appearance of the campsite and its facilities, particularly the sanitary facilities.
Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied when using the sanitary facilities.
For the comfort of all campers, sanitary blocks are partially closed during cleaning.
The sanitary facilities must not be used as gathering places.
Wastewater must not be poured onto the ground or into drainage channels. Guests must dispose of wastewater in the facilities specifically provided for this purpose.
Household rubbish, waste of any kind and paper must be placed in the designated bins.
Washing clothes or other items is strictly prohibited outside the facilities specifically provided for this purpose. However, washing near accommodation units is tolerated until 10:00 pm, provided that it is carried out discreetly and does not disturb neighbouring guests.
Clotheslines must never be attached to trees.
Plants, landscaping and floral decorations must be respected. It is prohibited to hammer nails into trees, cut branches or plant vegetation.
Guests may not mark out or enclose their pitches using their own materials, nor may they dig into the ground.
Any damage caused to vegetation, fences, the grounds or campsite facilities must be repaired at the expense of the person responsible.
The pitch used during the stay must be left in the same condition as it was found upon arrival.
Swimming Pools and Water Slides
Access to the swimming pools and water slides is strictly reserved for registered campsite guests. Visitors are not permitted to use these facilities.
The pools and water slides are unsupervised, and users remain entirely responsible for their own safety.
Swimming briefs are compulsory. Bermuda shorts, long swim shorts, regular shorts and T-shirts are prohibited.
Smoking and eating or drinking on the pool deck are also prohibited.
Anyone found to be in breach of these rules will be prohibited from using the swimming pools and water slides.
Opening hours are from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm. Swimming is prohibited outside these hours.
Safety
a. Fire Safety
Open fires, including wood and charcoal fires, are strictly prohibited. Charcoal barbecues are also prohibited.
Gas barbecues are permitted between 10:00 am and 10:00 pm, provided that all safety instructions are followed. They must not be used on the terrace and must be positioned at least 2 metres away from the mobile home.
Camping stoves must be kept in good working order and must never be used in unsafe conditions.
In the event of a fire, notify management immediately.
Fire extinguishers are available for use in an emergency.
A first-aid kit is available at the reception desk.
b. Theft
Management is responsible for items deposited at reception and has a general duty to monitor the campsite.
Campers remain responsible for their own equipment and must report the presence of any suspicious person to the campsite manager.
Guests are advised to take the usual precautions to protect their personal belongings and equipment.
Games and Recreational Activities
No violent or disruptive games may be played near the campsite facilities.
The meeting room may not be used for boisterous or physically active games.
Children must remain under their parents’ supervision at all times.
Storage of Unoccupied Equipment
Equipment may only be left unattended on the campsite with prior authorisation from management and must be placed in the location designated for this purpose.
A fee may apply for this service.
Breach of the Campsite Rules and Regulations
If a guest disrupts the stay of other users or fails to comply with these rules and regulations, the campsite manager or their representative may, if deemed necessary, issue a verbal or written notice requiring the guest to stop the disruptive behaviour.
In the event of a serious or repeated breach of these rules, and after the guest has been formally instructed to comply, management may terminate the contract.
In the event of a criminal offence, management may call the police.
Simply staying at the campsite constitutes acceptance of these rules and regulations.
