Liked: Reception staff absolutely lovely. I really appreciated them taking their time in speaking slowly in French so I could improve my understanding. Good base for cycling to explore the surrounding area. Cycle routes and ferries made it possible to cycle into Rouen. Staff responsible for the sanitary blocks were diligent and always smiling and courteous.

Could be better: Ability to change the temperature on the showers. Compost bin for food scraps

Liked: Good pitch size with privacy hedge. Next to a wood for a pleasant walk with dog. Lots of tall trees on site for shade. Can't comment on the pool or snack bar as arrived end September and facilities were closed for the season.

Could be better: Pitch up info said check in from 1.30. Arrived at 1.30, had to wait around til 3pm as reception closed.

Could be better: Some campsites don’t have toilet paper and this is one, would prefer it if it supplied it

About this campsite

Our camp-site is situated in a lovely forest and it will be an excellent starting point to visit the Valley of the Seine,to follow the Route des Abbeys or to visit the town Rouen with its historical monuments.

Getting there

If you need to cross the Seine to get to the campsite, please note that ferries are not allowed in campers and caravans. the quickest option is to take the Brotonne bridge which is free.

Booking conditions

REGULATIONS CAMPING : TAXES IN CHARGES

- no refund will be accepted if the time of stay is reduced by the campers.

- The rnter is obliged to clean the location and leave it in the state in wich he found it at is arrival. If necessary 50 € will be charged for the cleaning.

CANCELLATIONS CAMPING :

All cancellations should be made in writting by express delivery or fax- more than 30 days before arrival date, a sum of 15 € - 98.39 Frs will be retained for office charges, and the balance will be refunded,- between 30 days and arrival date, the account will not be refunded,- as from to 8 PM, except if the client has announced his delay, the management reserve the right to rerent the site and the account will not be refunded.

REGULATIONS RENT :

- at the reservation : payment of one quarter (25%) of total cost as a deposit, the balance on arrival,

- At your arrival you will be asked to pay a deposit of 250 €. It will be refunded at the end of your stay when you turn in the key, or will be send to you by post in case you leave outside the opening hours of the reception desk.

- no refund will be made if time of stay is reduced by the hirer.

- You musn't leave any animal on his own in the mobil home. One pet allowed per mobil home.

CANCELLATIONS RENT :

All cancellations should be made in writting. Please think of taking a cancellation insurance with your insurers.

- more than 60 days before arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded,

- between 60 and 30 days before arrival date, you will have to pay 50% of the total costs,

- between 30 days and arrival date, the whole cost will be forfeited

- when 24 hours after the reserved arrival date, the client has not arrived, except when the delay is reported by post, fax or telegram, he has to pay the total amount of the reservation and has the direction the right to re-rent the reserved accommodation.
