Camping Les Puits Tournants

Liked: Lovely welcome and easy to check in. Given choice of pitches so that was fabulous.

Could be better: Toilets require modernisation and cleaning. They were poor and could smell them when checking in. So we only lasted and hour and went home.

Liked: We had a very relaxing stay, mobile home was impeccable, great position in a lovely tranquil setting.

Liked: Beautiful, quiet location, with lakes, trees and colourful flower beds Choice of pitches in two areas, behind reception separated by hedges, or around the lake. Some are partially shaded. Very friendly reception, English speaking (although we do try and speak French!). Pool was clean, showers/toilets older style, but clean. The bar/snacks only open Fridays & Saturdays in low season, so we couldn’t try it. Easy access to the path along the River Somme for walking/cycling. Daily bread delivery, but no food shops in walking distance, so stock up before you arrive.

Could be better: It would be nice if the lakeside pitches were numbered and slightly better marked out, so that you can easily see the options available when you arrive.

Liked: Leuke knusse camping ideaal te gebruiken als doorreiscamping. Broodservice in de ochtend was prima.

Could be better: Het sanitair had iets schoner gekund.
