SPECIAL TERMS OF SALE OF THE LIEU DIEU (Updated 01/07/2026)

INFORMATION
Despite our best efforts, printing errors may appear in our brochures.

PRICES
Prices in euros are based on economic and tax conditions at the time of brochure creation. Any modification (exchange rates, taxes, etc.) may result in equivalent price changes.
For existing bookings, the client will be notified by email and has 2 weeks to accept or cancel without charge (written request required).
Promotions or price increases after promotion periods are never retroactive.
Applicable prices are those in effect on the booking date and confirmed at reservation.

ECOTAX
Not included in prices unless stated. Payable on-site.
As of January 1, 2026: €1 per person per night.
This contributes to green-space maintenance, waste management, etc.

PAYMENT TERMS
Reservation is effective only after acceptance by Lieu Dieu and receipt of deposit.
Upon receipt of deposit, accommodation and services are confirmed by email.
Payment indicates acceptance of our general and special terms.

·         More than 30 days before arrival: 50% deposit due within 4 business days of booking.

·         Less than 30 days before arrival: full payment required upon booking.

·         Late bookings may require immediate payment.

Balance due 30 days before arrival.
If unpaid, reservation is considered cancelled and cancellation terms apply.

Accepted payments: cheque, bank card (Visa, Mastercard), holiday vouchers (ANCV), ANCV Connect, bank transfer, postal order, cash.
Cheques not accepted within 15 days of arrival.

CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION
Must be reported verbally, then confirmed in writing by registered letter or email with acknowledgment.
Fees apply as follows:

Group lodgings and large houses:
   - More than 90 days before arrival: 50% of the total cost of the stay is due;
   - From 89 days prior up to the day of arrival: 100% of the total cost of the stay is due.
Unique accommodations:
   - More than 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total cost of the stay is due;
   - From 29 days prior up to the day of arrival: 100% of the total cost of the stay is due.

Late arrival or early departure gives no refund.

Booking may be transferred to a third party (family or friend) who meets original conditions; seller must be notified at least 7 days before arrival.

Promotional bookings (flash sales, private sales, couponing) are non-modifiable and non-refundable.

If Lieu Dieu cannot honor an essential element of the reservation, a replacement of equal or higher quality will be offered. If no agreement, full refund will be issued.
If cancellation is not due to force majeure, the buyer also receives an indemnity equivalent to the cancellation penalty they would have owed.

Interruption of stay or unused services gives no refund.

If accommodation is re-rented, reimbursement is made minus:

·         €150 fee for group lodges

·         €100 for Maison de campagne, Maison des oiseaux, cabane sur l'eau avec bain nordique

·         €50 for maison sur l'eau, roulottes, yourte et gouttes d'O

In the event of government lockdown, postponement or refund minus management fee (€50; €150 for group lodges) applies.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Offered in partnership with Quatuor Travel.
Must be purchased at reservation (cost: 2.6% of stay price).
Notify Lieu Dieu immediately in case of cancellation, and notify insurer within 48 hours.

CUSTOMER AREA AND LOYALTY POINTS
Each customer has a personal online area where they can view all their bookings, both past and upcoming. This area also allows for managing and modifying stays: paying the deposit to confirm a booking option, paying the balance, pre-registering participants, adding activities or services, and viewing or using loyalty points.

Please note that the customer area is not fully compatible with stays booked via external platforms (Booking, Airbnb, Groupon, Abracadaroom, etc.).
You can access the customer area at https://lieudieu.my-user-account.com/login using your unique customer number and the email address used during booking (reception can provide this information if needed).

The loyalty account, also visible in real-time within the customer area, operates on a points system:

·         Earning points: 1 point is awarded for every €10 spent on the base cost of the stay (excluding optional extras and additional services). Points become available for use the day after the stay ends.
Stays eligible for loyalty points include:
unique accommodation, equestrian stays for adults, residential equestrian stays for children, and package deals (Valentine’s Day, offers including horse riding or activities, etc.).

·         Reward value: 1 point = €1.

·         Redeeming points: Points can be redeemed once a balance of 10 points (equivalent to €10) is reached.
They can be used towards a future stay (applied to the base cost) or for specific activities during your stay (led pony rides, bike rental, paddleboarding, pedal boats, etc.).
However, the total discount amount cannot exceed 10% of the stay's base cost. Le Lieu Dieu reserves the right to modify a stay without notice if the use of points does not comply with these conditions, particularly in the case of online purchases.

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

Maximum occupancy per accommodation cannot be exceeded.
Babies count as full persons.

DOG-FRIENDLY
Dogs and cats accepted (fee applies).

Equipment available (bowls, protective blankets).

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Considered but not guaranteed.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Arrivals: 16:00–18:00 (until 19:00 Friday Nov–Mar; 20:00 Apr–Oct).
Departures: 10:00–12:00.

Late arrivals require special agreement; otherwise the seller is not responsible for extra costs.

Personalized late check-in available (€50) or autonomous check-in via email/phone.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS
The client must insure their belongings and any damage caused.
Avoid charging devices unattended.
Lost items can be returned for €20 (up to 3kg).

EVENTS AND PARTIES
Night guard required (fee applies) to ensure safety and neighborhood tranquility.

LOCAL DISTURBANCES
Lieu Dieu is not responsible for disturbances such as:

·         Power/water shortages

·         Activity cancellations

·         Noisy environment

·         Maintenance operations
etc.

INVENTORY AND SECURITY DEPOSIT
Deposits: €900 for group lodges; €300 for unusual accommodations.
Any discrepancy must be reported within 4 hours of arrival.
Lost keys charged €50.
