The campsite is located in the heart of a beautiful landscape planted with trees, with a great situation overlooking the Indre river. It is also very close to La Châtre, a lovely town with a wide-ranging cultural heritage, which makes of Valvert a marvelous place to stay.

Liked: Camping tres sympa avec ttes les instalations nécessaires. Proprietaires super sympa. De tres belles rando, circuits vtt ou courses a pieds tt autour.

Liked: Great location, wonderful welcome Facilities modern, clean and well maintained. Restaurant onside, menu a little limited but well priced and appetising. Will certainly be back!

Liked: Very large site within the nature. Quite well shadowed under a big tree. The only problem does not depend on the camping site: heat wave. Very good restaurant

Good site, but lack of information
Liked: We liked the big pitches, and that we were allowed to move to a shadier area. The facilities were clean. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Could be better: We could not find where to obtain water. Some confusion when I asked. Another camper told us where the taps were situated.

Excellent site with immaculate facilities.
Liked: Clean and tidy site, well laid out to give enough privacy. Helpful reception made our stay very pleasant. Reasonably priced restaurant serving good fresh food.
Could be better: It's hard to think of any improvements as this is one of the best sites we have stayed at.

Liked: We have stayed here many times, it’s a great wee site nestled away in the countryside… there are lovely walks and bike trails nearby. The town of la chatre is charming and has many cafes and restaurants. The restaurant on the site is superb but you need to book !

Liked: Lovely site , staff friendly , facilities top nitch... Clean, everything there. It realy is a great find. Pitches are big, and a lovely swimming pool. Easy walk into Town. We will return!

Le Val Vert en Berry offers four architect-designed wooden eco-cabins, blending vintage charm with modern comfort. Available for weekly, weekend or short stays (outside July–August). Each cabin enjoys a prime setting with private parking and beautiful river views. Open-plan living area with fully equipped kitchen (microwave, electric or gas hob, fridge, Senseo coffee machine), dining space, sofa bed (sleeps 2 – 140 cm), wood-burning stove and TV. One bedroom with either a double bed (160 cm) or twin beds (80 cm), plus storage. Bathroom with spacious shower, WC, washbasin and heated towel rail. Covered terrace and private outdoor area with garden furniture (table and chairs).
