First time in a camp in france
Liked: We entered a green a quiet area, well maintained. The lady at the reception was kined and helpful. The small store served us well.
Camp Hôtel 16m² - 1 bedroom
Great stay for bike camping
Liked: Lovely outdoor area, and shared camping area for bike campers with tables, stove and sink. Nice little swimming pool, helpful staff, and delicious dinner which was fun for kids to make
Could be better: Camping area could have more shade and space - camped quite close to other campers
Emplacement libre - Loire à Vélo
Not what I expected
Liked: Nice site. Very quiet. Loved the roaming goats. Clean and tidy sanitary. Lovely cycle rides in the area. Sadly it’s a village like a lot of villages that is dying.
Could be better: Nothing within the bounds of the owners. The lack of any infrastructure in the area isn’t Dow to them it’s a sad fact of the 21st century.
Comfort Package (1 tent, caravan or motor home / 1 car / electricity/ 2 pers included)
Lovely spot for chateaux
Liked: Great location. Loved the swimming pool.
Could be better: Toilet paper in the toilets.
Comfort Package (1 tent, caravan or motor home / 1 car / electricity/ 2 pers included)
Friendliest Campsite anywhere
Liked: A really warm welcome. Good pitch and the facilities are great. Plenty of hot water and kept really clean. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the method of cooking is very different. The campsite hosts are great people, nothing is too much trouble. Cycling from the campsite is fantastic with Chateau’s to visit in every direction. The small town of Langeais is nearby with lovely cafes, Chateau and a decent sized supermarket. Well worth a visit.
Could be better: The only improvement will come with time as the trees and shrubs grow to provide more shade.
EMPLACEMENT
Fabulous
Liked: The site was small and busy, yet peaceful and quiet. Just what we were looking for. The facilities were very good for a small site and everyone, both campers of all nationalities, and particularly the host and hostess were so friendly and helpful. And they came to our rescue when our car wouldn't start on leaving.
Could be better: Toilet paper in the cubicles, rather than having to guess how much you need before going in would be better
Comfort Package (1 tent, caravan or motor home / 1 car / electricity/ 2 pers included)
Loved site
Liked: Good size pitch. Location of site with great cycling. Swimming pool. Clean facilities.
Comfort Package (1 tent, caravan or motor home / 1 car / electricity/ 2 pers included)
Lovely little site
Liked: Nice pitch, well spread out with a mix of tents & statics around
Could be better: More defined pitches maybe?
Comfort Package (1 tent, caravan or motor home / 1 car / electricity/ 2 pers included)
Super camping
Liked: Nous aimons l'ambiance "familiale", simple du camping, la piscine, les jeux pour les enfants, la paillote, le petit marché du mercredi soir, l'animation...
