GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Booking conditions:
The booking only becomes effective with the campsite's agreement, after receipt of the deposit and after receipt of either the duly completed and signed booking contract or acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale when booking online. Les Vergers de Squividan campsite is free to accept or refuse a booking request, depending on availability and, in general, any circumstances that may affect the execution of the booking. Bookings for pitches or rentals are nominative, strictly personal and cannot be transferred or sublet under any circumstances.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Payment terms:
For bookings made more than 31 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the price of the services booked must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 31 days before the start of the stay.
For bookings made less than 31 days before the start of the stay, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
Tourist tax:
The tourist tax must be paid on arrival. The tourist tax is charged per night and varies depending on the municipality.
Cancellation:
Cancellation insurance is optional but strongly recommended.
The following rules apply if you do not take out cancellation insurance:
More than 60 days before your arrival: cancellation of your contract must be sent to us by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. The deposit will then be refunded. Administration fees will not be refunded.
Between 60 and 32 days before your arrival: cancellation of your contract must be sent to us by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. The deposit and administrative fees will be retained, and no refund will be made.
Less than 32 days before your arrival: cancellation of your contract must be sent to us by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt and by email. The full amount of your stay is due.
Camping pitches:
The basic package, known as the nature package, includes a pitch for a tent, caravan or motorhome for 2 people, access to sanitary facilities and infrastructure. It includes one motor vehicle. The comfort package also includes an electrical connection.
Camping pitches are available from 12 noon and must be vacated by 11 a.m.
Chalet, cottage or gîte rental:
Rental accommodation is equipped with kitchen equipment, crockery, etc. The basic package is for 2 to 6 people, depending on the type of rental. No additional persons beyond the description (planned capacity) may occupy the rental without the prior written consent of the campsite. Any special requests must be confirmed at the time of booking or at the latest 1 month before the start of the stay.
Rentals are available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest.
No-show:
If the customer does not arrive on the day of arrival mentioned in the booking, ‘without notice’, the booking will be considered cancelled. In this case, the campsite will dispose of the property or pitch and will not refund the amount of the stay.
Deposit:
A deposit of €400 will be required on arrival for rentals. It will be returned no later than 10 days after the tenant's departure, unless it is retained. The accommodation must be left in a perfectly clean condition, and the inventory will be checked. You will be charged for any broken or damaged items, as well as for any repairs that may be necessary. The campsite will then be entitled to deduct from the deposit the amount corresponding to the replacement or repair of any damage of any kind.
Cleaning:
If the accommodation has not been cleaned before
your departure, you will be charged a cleaning fee of at least €90 including VAT. An end-of-stay cleaning option is available when you make your booking.
Smoking:
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rental properties.
Insurance:
The tenant must have civil liability insurance.
Pets:
Pets are accepted for a fee payable at the time of booking (except for category 1 and 2 dogs). They must be tattooed and vaccinated (vaccination certificate required). They must never be left alone in the accommodation and must always be kept on a lead within the campsite.
Campsite rules:
All campers and tenants agree to comply with the campsite rules. These are displayed at reception and can be provided on request.
