General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1 - Scope of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale

These general terms and conditions govern all sales of stays made on the website www.camping-autun.fr. They form an integral part of any contract concluded between the campsite and its customers.
Each customer acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions prior to booking any stay, both for themselves and any other person participating in the stay.
In accordance with applicable law, these general terms and conditions are made available to all customers for informational purposes prior to the conclusion of any sales contract for stays. They can also be obtained upon written request addressed to the campsite's registered office.

Article 2 - Booking Conditions

2.1 Price and Payment

The price of stays is indicated in euros, including VAT.

Tourist tax is not included in the price of stays.

For campsite pitch and mobile home rental bookings: All rentals are non-transferable and cannot be assigned to a specific individual. The rental only becomes effective with our agreement and after receipt of the total amount of the stay and booking fees.

For any unreported delay, the rental/pitch will become available 2 hours after the arrival date indicated on the booking contract. After this time, and in the absence of written notification, the booking will be void and the deposit will be retained by the campsite management.

2.2 Booking Modification

No reduction will be given in the event of late arrival or early departure.

2.3 Cancellation

Any booking not paid in full in accordance with the general terms and conditions of sale will be cancelled. No refund will be issued by our establishment.

2.4 Right of Withdrawal

The legal provisions concerning the right of withdrawal for distance selling, as set out in the French Consumer Code, do not apply to tourist services (Article L.121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code).
Therefore, for any booking of a stay with the campsite, the customer does not have a right of withdrawal.

2.5 Cancellation Insurance

We advise you to take out cancellation insurance. During your booking process, you will be offered the option of cancellation insurance through our partner, Campez Couvert. This policy provides cancellation coverage, allowing you to obtain a refund of the amounts paid in the event of cancellation of your stay or early departure under certain conditions (illness, accident, etc.). Once purchased, all claims must be made directly to Campez Couvert, without any involvement from the campsite.

Article 3 - Course of the Stay

3.1 Arrivals and Departures

For rentals: arrivals are between 3 pm and 6 pm or by appointment, and departures are before 10 am, any day of the week. Outside of these hours, you must notify the campsite and obtain its approval.

For camping: you are asked to check in at reception no later than 6 pm. As the reservation guarantees a pitch, campers who have paid a deposit can choose a pitch and set up freely upon arrival. Late arrival is possible by appointment and subject to availability, with an additional charge. Departures are before noon, any day of the week.

For arrivals without a reservation, you must check in at reception and obtain the campsite's approval before setting up.

Guests with reservations will have priority over walk-ins. The availability of a camping pitch does not guarantee permission to stay. In case of high demand at the cottage bar/snack bar, management reserves the right to refuse service to camping customers arriving late without a reservation, even if there is a free space.

3.2 Security Deposit

A security deposit of €200 per accommodation will be required upon arrival. It will be refunded no later than 24 hours after your departure, following a check-out inspection. Upon arrival, you can schedule an appointment for the check-out inspection; however, this inspection may be carried out without your presence, particularly in the case of early departure. Security deposits paid in cash will be refunded on the scheduled departure day between 9:00 and 10:00 AM by appointment.

Any damage will be charged in addition to the price of your stay, as will the cleaning fee, depending on the option chosen. The complimentary cleaning option does not include washing dishes or emptying the trash. For stays of 7 nights or more, the accommodation must be left in a perfectly clean condition. However, the campsite offers a cleaning option for €40. Any cleaning not performed, not booked, or not included in the complimentary cleaning service will be charged at €60 per hour started.

3.3 Departure

Any return of keys or vacating the pitch after 10:00 AM will result in an additional night's charge. Any extension of your stay is subject to approval by management.

3.4 Pets

Pets are allowed inside the rentals.
The campsite management reserves the right to deduct part or all of the security deposit if the cleaning is not satisfactory or if any damage is found.

3.5 Campsite Rules

As required by law, you must adhere to our campsite rules, which are registered with the prefecture, posted at reception, and a copy of which will be provided upon request.

Article 4 – Liability

The campsite declines all responsibility for damage to the camper's/caravanner's equipment caused by their own actions; liability insurance for your equipment is mandatory (FFCC, ANWB, ADAC, etc.).

Article 5 – Applicable Law

These general terms and conditions are governed by French law, and any dispute relating to their application falls under the jurisdiction of the High Court or the Commercial Court of Chalon-sur-Saône.
