Flower Camping Le Clos Auroy

Liked: Plots were given privacy with flowered fences. Swimming pool and slides were great.

Could be better: Cafe had limited menu. Could do with more food choices. Water taps for filling up motorhome water were difficult to use, out hose attachment didn't work on them. Feel the price of the camping was expensive.

Liked: Always a good stay here and the staff are fantastic

Liked: We only stayed for 2 nights as a break in our journey to Spain. The pitches are very big and shady. Staff are excellent. One day we will stay longer and have a swim.

Liked: Enjoyed our stay even though the temperature was nudging 40 degrees. Pools were good and bad. The slides weren't working during our stay. The lower pool was kept clean and fresh but the upper pool was infested with wasps. Not the site's fault of course. Also, no patisserie on site

Could be better: Suggest doing a deal with local patisserie for people to order patisseries the day before and get them delivered perhaps

Liked: Excellent site, great facilities, good pitches. Great pools, perfect for kids. Many people used as a stop off. We did but for 3 nights and we could have stayed more.

Could be better: Could have a normal control on the water taps instead of a push button

Liked: A nice friendly site with swimming pool and restaurant, I particularly liked the self check in when reception was closed at lunchtime.

Liked: A convenient site just off the motorway. Peaceful, pitches with shade, good electric hook up points and taps nearby. Has a swimming pool which was great for cooling down, but number of people in it restricted any swimming. We would stop here again, but eat our own food!

Could be better: The gardener needs to be more proactive, as weeds growing in block paving 600mm high, so been there a while. Weeds also in flower and shrub areas. It hasn't looked like this on previous years. Temperature probe needs to be used in restaurant, to ensure things are cooked to the right temperature ( Fish burger was raw and cold)
