Nice and calm camping site, very friendly and helpful owners
Liked: We got a very friendly welcome at the reception, also the owners were patient with our poor French. The camping site is a calm place, has a nice pool, and everything is clean. The food at the snack bar was excellent, we and our kids loved it. We can definitely recommend it for an overnight stop while traveling or for a few days to explore the vulcan area and the City.

Liked: Sehr gemütlicher Platz mit viel Ruhe. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Lovely site
Liked: Had a very relaxing 4 night stay on way to provence. Decided to return on our way back up. Site clean and tidy. Owners are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Has a pool and also a snack bar if needed, also do takeaways. Great access to the motorway so some were using it as a 1 or 2 night stopover, others for longer stays. If we were down this way again would definitely revisit.

Could be better: Check in instructions- none given. We were not advised about pool opening, shower block, play areas, Wi-Fi or bbq.

Excellent small site with everything needed
Liked: Lovely site with a small but perfectly formed swimming pool. Friendly managers and great facilities . The area is amazing really recommend.
Could be better: A clearer path to the pool would be great as people were often cutting across random pitches to get to it.

Lovely Welcoming Site
Liked: Very warm welcome from the owners. Restaurant is lovely. Lovely quiet site with lots of birds to watch. Would recommend the site to everyone who reads this post. We will be back next year.

Could be better: Sanitaires are a bit dated and no loo paper! Also the French penchant for Budgie smugglers is rigidly enforced.

We have large trees on our land that provide shelter from the sun. Most of our Puy de Dôme camping pitches can accommodate tents, caravans and motorhomes.
Most can be hooked up to electricity.
Two toilet blocks with free hot showers are available,
1 PMR reserved space near the toilet block accessible to the disabled.
A washing machine and ironing facilities are installed in the largest of the sanitary facilities.
* Since 2020: 2 gravelled paths in the part facing the snack bar.
* 1 motorhome terminal with gray water and black water drain
