Liked: Very helpful reception staff. Lovely pitch. Nice facilities.
Could be better: Could be more water points. Movement sensors in toilets didn’t last long enough. No paper towels in dispenser.

Mostly pleasant but seemed under-staffed
Liked: Hygenic areas - Regular cleaning of bathrooms and utility sinks Location - Lovely part of Ardennes and on pretty Semois River Entertainment - There was a great band on a Saturday night we were there Swimming - There was a pool and a spot in the river for water play
Could be better: Dishevelled - tables of scattered magazines and brochures outside of reception, bits of broken things all over like the bottom spring of a piece of children's equipment sticking out of the ground Car charging - impossible to charge on the one charge point as there was no system of reserving it Lack of staffing - hard to find someone to ask questions of ("reception" wasn't open until 1pm). Information given wasn't always correct. No supervision of crowded pool area. Minimal staff seemed exhausted and stretched thin.

Could be better: De plaatsnummers zijn niet al te duidelijk. Ook te weinig waterkraantjes en electriciteitspalen ook vrij onduidelijk welke van welke plaats waren.

Kort verblijf met een nare nasmaak
Liked: Mooie camping in een soort parkachtige omgeving en prima sanitair.
Could be better: Om op de kampeerplaats te komen moest ik met de caravan een draai maken over de tegenoverliggende plek. Hier stak echter een restant boomstronk uit de grond van ca 25 cm. Bij regenachtig weer deze over het hoofd gezien. De caravanmover kon hierdoor op de eerste vakantiedag total loss verklaard worden.

Fijne levendige camping
Liked: Prima camping, met een fijne plek afgezet met bomen en struiken, daardoor ook lekkere schaduw en zon. Prima zwembad en sanitair gebouw. Fijn dat de camping levendig is en dat je gezellige geluiden hoort tot half twaalf ‘s avonds zodat je niet muisstil moet zijn om 22:00.
Could be better: Douchestralen wat te zacht, duurde lang om je haar uit te spoelen met shampoo Wellicht een pad/trap creëren naar het riviertje zodat je er wat makkelijker in kan lopen.

Camping De Chênefleur stretches alongside river Semois near Tintigny. The camp ground offers large areas with big camping pitches by the river limited with hedges, trees and plants. The weather is mild and less rainy than other parts of Belgium. Camping De Chênefleur boasts a great location to visit North France, Luxemburg and Ardennes. Bungalow, mobile home and canvas bungalow rentals.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
a. In case of cancellation between the date of the reservation confirmation and
6 weeks before arrival, 50% of the total rent +
reservation costs will be charged.
b. For cancellations between 6 weeks before arrival and 1 week before
arrival, 90% of the total rent will be charged.
